Onset meaning of Set Me Free is they want to be set free and have an 'official' relationship with someone without feeling trapped or judged by others. Basically asking for 'Love' to set them free. Another take would be is, since they released the song outside of Korea, (having the premiere at the 'Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon') it can be seen as Twice being 'set free' to the West. The 'familiar movie sets', the exploding movie theatre, Chae jumping UP and the MV's fake ending may symbolize the end of Bubblegum Korean Girl group Twice into the NEW Conquer the WEST Twice, just my 2 cents 😂 🤣 LOVE YOUR REACTIONS AS ALWAYS!~

I haven't finished listening to this yet but Blaire's comment saying Twice know how to play now is soooo true to me, they have always been experimental in their b-sides and there is where they shine the most. But it's true you can really see them showing off and being playful yet outgrow themeselves in their latest releases

i mean i don't have any official evidence for this like interviews or anything this is just my opinion after having been a once for 5ish years, what blaire said (love blaire's hair btw) it feels like specifically on these last 3 albums twice have been allowed to play with their vocals more. my guess is from eyes wide open, they've probably gained the freedom to do so. But specifically in these last 3 albums, they've become more comfortable to do so. i think more than anyone else, momo is the most representative of that change. momo was so limited back in the day, not because of her talent, but the style she was forced to sing in (and probably the style that she was comfortable singing in after like years of training with it) wasn't a style that suited her voice at all. and recently she's been able to sing however she wants and the difference and improvement SHOWS. same with tzuyu. and it's not even that i think the agency has been super strict (in the beginning i'm guessing they were), but also their confidence is showing now in their vocals.

Idk if you are going to see this since I'm sure you are being bombarded with comments. But Jeongyeon is a lead vocalist along with Nayeon so technally she should have been getting these parts but the label just doesn't give her those lines. Honestly imo the vocal line (Jihyo, Jeongyeon and Nayeon) all have what it takes to be main vocalists.

Lol GOT7 is not doing fine, why else was Jackson promoting solo as a global artist and formed his own company? Cuz he was forbidden by JYP to promote in Korea, the group even had that whole mess about leaving JYP and trying to maintain their name
