aww you skipped the after-credits scene :(( most or maybe all of the episodes have them, they're just for shits and giggles, not necessary "canon", but they're always really fun!!! plz watch those too !! (they're called juju strolls !!)

Super excited for you guys to get deeper into the series! Just to clarify a couple of things since it is a little confusing to keep track of: Third Years: Toudou (from the Kyoto Branch) FYI the third years from the Tokyo branch are all currently suspended and therefore cannot participate in the festival, which is why Toudou is angry since he wanted to fight them. Gojo briefly mentions one of them by name here "Hakari." Second Years: Okkotsu (the main guy from the movie), Maki, Panda, Inumaki, and Mai (from Kyoto) First Years: Itadori, Megumi, and Nobara Also, something to clarify, both sorcerers and cursed spirits are ranked by "grade." The ranking goes from Grade 4 to Special Grade in descending order. Grade 4 being the lowest tier and Special Grade being the highest. For example, Gojo is a Special Grade sorcerer, while Jougo (the spirit Gojo just fought with) and Hanami (the one who saved Jougo) are considered Special Grade Cursed Spirits. Currently, there are only 4 registered Special Grade Sorcerers, three of which you have already seen. Gojo, Okkotsu, and Getou (the monk-looking guy). Fun little fact, though it is explicitly implied: Gojo is in fact the strongest sorcerer alive at this point in time and recognized to be so, which is why the higher ups can't do much to him despite his constant antagonizing of them and instead go after his students. Also because there was some confusion about his age in the beginning, Gojo is 28! Hope this information helps with all the confusion!

yeah they aren't really to further the story, but they are like comical little short clips :) (I just checked and I think they started in episode 7, and they just continue being at the end of most episodes after that, like this one and so on)

I’m so glad it helped! I think this is also why Maki is such a badass, bc she comes from a VERY powerful family that has disowned her and is actively preventing her from moving up the ranks, which is why she is stuck at Grade 4. And she straight up says that she became a sorcerer out of pure spite to become powerful enough to laugh at her family. Another Funfact that they really really briefly made a connection to: Megumi and Maki are from the same Clan and are thus related!
