Omg yay I'm gonna watch in like 20 mins, but I'm curious to see what your fave b-side ends up being! I think there's a good variety of genres, but my overall fave is Promise You! Honorable mentions to Breakfast, The Rainy Night, and Magic Carpet Ride 😁(Lemonade in an obvious love in the album, but I wanted to mention other b-sides too!) but the epicness of Bring the Noize Adding to answer your first question, for me I usually have the pre-chorus as my fave section in a song! It repeats just like a chorus does, but it's the section that builds up into the chorus so it's quite addicting. Even with older songs, the pre-chorus sounding good can hook me. Oh I actually disagree with what you said about Road Trip! If you'd let the song play a little more when you rewinded at the end, you would've heard the little falsettos! I think the subtle amount of adlibs fit the vibe and intention of the lyrics, it's meant to be a sweet and relaxing song. The last three tracks in the album really make it end on a sweet and positive note! OH I see your reaction to Promise You is very promising! But it's such a feel good yet emotional song? Just imagine NCT 127 performing this last during a concert, it would just be perfect 🥺

this was an awesome listening party! worth the wait :D my favourite song is definitely Promise You. I listened to that one on repeat for a while! Far actually could be a SuperM song for me, not Wavy. I also thought that Johnny's part could be done by Lucas, but in SM lol

I’m so glad you liked it! I usually have a good idea of which songs you’ll be a fan of, but ballads and r&b songs are always up in the air. The only songs that aren’t on constant repeat for me are Road Trip and Dreamer, but The Rainy Night with rain noises in the background is perfection.

this is really one of my most anticipated comeback but i was a little disappointed. maybe because neozone was such an amazing album i had so much expectations lol. some of the tracks on this are not my taste lol. still a pretty good album regardless. that said, my fav tracks are sticker (this song is surely a grower), lemonade, breakfast, promise you, magic carpet ride and the rainy night but hey they're coming back with a repackage album tomorrow. hoping there's good b-sides in those

I really liked the standing look for the listening party. It was fun to see PD feeling the songs with their whole body. Seemed like they had more energy than previous listening parties.

Title tracks are so performance-based and especially lately, try to be extremely experimental to catch people's attention and for me, they're rarely songs that I will actually listen to. So, I'm not a massive fan of Sticker (the song) but I am in love with the bsides on this album, especially Magic Carpet Ride and Promise You.

Sticker is a song that I’ve only grown to enjoy cause of the performances, so I personally can’t handle just listening to it & only do when I’m watching the boy’s performances. However the album for me has some of my favourite nct bsides like lemonade, breakfast, focus & promise you.

Just finished and updated my first comment with my thoughts, but I see we have the same appreciation in several songs! I enjoy seeing you vibing along to the songs while standing in the new set up. I honestly would love to see a listening party to their previous full album which was Neo Zone (The Final Round being the repackage) since Sticker feels like a good continuation of the songs that were in those albums! Maybe one day, but I always appreciate the efforts you put into your content! Oh and I wanted to ask if you'll be checking out the repackage which will have 3 new songs?

I really like the standing set up, there's so much energy! Sticker has become my favorite 127 album along with Regulate. I think alot of people have Neo Zone as their favorite but personally I think Sticker has more variation in songs and vibes and that makes it more interesting to listen to for me. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on that, if you'd like to check out "Neo Zone: The final round".

What's going on in Ncity right now: ● NCT 127 are releasing the repackage album "Favorite" tomorrow (25th) With title track "Favorite (Vampire)" and 2 new bsides ●NCT 127s new show on YouTube Originals is starting soon. "Analog Trip: Escape from Magic island". The 9 of them are basically left alone on an island for 72 hours and their mission is to escape. I love that you are now standing up for the listening "party" and I love how you start with the title track despite you had a whole separate culture study video for it. For me, I really love love love Promise You and Focus. I really love Road Trip too because I dug that song in first listen as soon as it came out. Lemonade, well, we don't even need to talk about it, it's phenomenal. I am really glad that you enjoyed this album and I really think this album is 11 out of 10, too. Their repackaged album "Favorite" is coming out tomorrow too, and I am really looking forward to it.

My fav was def focus! I think 127 did a great job on meeting the high expactations that came with neozone. Personally neozone remains undefeated but sticker came pretty close.

I love the standing setup! I feel like I can vibe and jam with the song and with you more. It feels a lot more personal and like I don’t just have to look at your facial expressions but also body language to get how you’re feeling about a song which is really cool.

I'm not a fan of "the weird shit," as PD put it, when it comes to the new "experimental" styles. I long for the old days when SHINee & f(x)'s music was experimental - and still had full instrumentals & actual melodies & toplines that were interesting AND listenable. I've basically been SM's bitch when it comes to their male idols ever since I got into Kpop - but 2021 was super disappointing to me in terms of main title tracks. Don't Call Me - least favorite SHINee title track; Kick Back - alright, but mediocre compared to their previous titles; Hot Sauce - least favorite Dream title track; Advice - least favorite Taem title track; Sticker - 2nd least favorite 127 title track. Key's Bad Love was the only main title track I truly liked this year. Oh, and EXO's DFTF - which of course got ZERO promotion. (Atlantis & Hello Future were great, but they're repacks, not main titles.) There's very few female artists I vibe w/, but I gave aespa a shot & Black Mamba was ok til it got overplayed, but I don't like Next Level or Savage. RV's Queendom was good, but I tend to prefer their Velvet side (like Bad Boy & Psycho). So yeah, I found myself looking elsewhere for my main boy group fixes this year & I can't say I like the current trend of "the weirder it sounds, the better."

advice? Idk, that one wasn't weird or that crazy experimental to me. I felt like it captured a lot of Taemin's original styles, but a bit more updated, and it showcased so much of his vocals. It was actually very tame for SM this year and the piano in the beginning? Gorgeous. It was full of instrumentals and melodies haha. I dont think it fits the list of songs you laid out at all. It was more Bad Love, which you said you liked? Idk, maybe listen to all the songs at once and you'll see what i mean.

One of my favorite tracks on this album by far is Promise You, but not for a reason most people would think. So, when I listened to it for the first time, I was immediately hit by such a nostalgia because it is almost uncanny how much it resembles the “theme” song from the 1984 movie The Neverending Story. I thought I was hearing things at first but I played the song for my mom and asked her what song it reminded her of and she said the same thing without me even hinting it to her. I don’t know, but both songs just feel the same to me, like they are laced with some kind of pixie dust almost. It also gives such a “concert ender” vibes, to release that last little bit of Euphoria before the night is over, or in this case the album because it is the last track as well.

I ADORE this setup, PD! It's so much fun to watch you vibe to the music haha. And I completely agree w/ everyone else, you NEED to check out the Neo Zone repackage now!! That album and this one are actually my favorites out of all their recent discography; their replay values are so. dang. high. Off this album, my favorites are Breakfast, Focus, and Far.

Honestly I'm so happy just watching you listen like this!! It really feels like a party now. This album was good but I dunno if they can top Empathy or Irregular for me. Lemonade, Sticker, Breakfast, Focus, Magic Carpet Ride, and Promise you are my favs. Im also not a fan of Road Trip or Dreamer I feel like those would have been amazing as NCT Dream Bsides not 127 they just didn't fit thr whole vibe of the album. NCT is quickly becoming one of top 5 groups of all time they keep reling me in and Im not upset about it lol.

Also Doyoungs voice is gonna be the death of me and I'm also becoming more Taeyong trash every comeback he just has this charisma and coolness about him I love it so much!! Also please add CIX first full length album OK Prologue to your listening party lists!! Im dying for you to listen to it its phenomenal!! Since you've been getting into CIX more and more recently its definitely worth it! Its their best album and there are so many good bsides on it!

It deff took me a bit to get comfortable with sticker. It’s not my fave but I can listen to it. My fave is deff breakfast, promise you, and lemonade. I’m totally becoming Johnny trash ever since Nct 2020, but Doyoung has my heart! PD I am not sure if you know this but Bae Benji from B.I.G helped co-compose lemonade with an American composer. I forgot his name. They went live on Instagram and talked about what it was like. One thing I thought was awesome was how the American producer said that Benji would do choreography as they were composing to make sure it can be danced to. Since he used to be kpop he had a lot of tips on how to write the song and what would be needed for a good song.

I need Johnny to get more singing lines, he can actually sing and has a good range but they always only give him like speaking parts and sometimes a small rap and sometimes a couple singing lines but not enough where he can show his voice properly. he does get more now than he used to so I hope he keeps getting more and more.

Probably being heavily biased but definitely my favourite album of 2021 with Favorite being my favourite title not just of this year but in recent years, seriously NCT never disappoints, Taeyong and Jaehyun rapping duo was chef's kiss! Promise You made me cry, I hope I can see them live!
