ok PD I find it so weird because when I go check on my Netflix I’m on U.S. Netflix and my English subs are different from the one that shows up for you. Like for the scene where the dude is at the hospital for you it says “I must look like hell” And my subs say “Did i cough up too much blood?”which is similar to what you said he actually said in Korean. I hope someone can provide a different place or I also heard some people used a vpn on Netflix. I really love your Vincenzo reactions!

This show made me fall in love with Taecyon. He is so good. I really liked that Cha Young was not a good person at first. If her morals weren't gey, her joining forces with Vincenzo wouldn't have made sense. But because she was already used to not playing the game fairly, she is not judging his methods and they make such a good team.

You might have to use a VPN. Im from Chicago and my subtitles are completely different from yours. Idk where you live, but whoever did subs for netflix over there did you wrong XD

Yeah the subs thing is really weird! I’m in NZ and my subs have always been relatively OK in all the parts PD brings up so I thought it might be a US netflix thing, but clearly not if others in the US aren’t having the same issue. Hopefully you’re able to find somewhere that has more accurate subs for you!!

ok this may come out of nowhere but i started watching some drama club episode updates with a friend who is kind enough to not mind the spoilers and me explaining previous episodes and we noticed your partner's eyeliner is always so pretty and it fits her pretty well just wanted to let u guys know,,,, i give updates to my friend when i notice the makeup fjksdfjsdk this is so embarrasing

Chayoung is definitely my favorite character on the show i just love so much her confidence, the way she portraits herself, her weirdness and how she doesn't care about having like a "classy" lawyer image she just does what she feels like it and I also 100% agree about her resembling Seunghee lol

I was also curious so I checked the English Netflix subs in my country (Greece) and they are also different from PDs. I don't get it.

I think you've mentioned using a VPN before. Do you by chance have it set for somewhere other than the US? If so, maybe thats why your subtitles are different. I'm from the Northern part of the US and my subs are completely different than yours

Also english dubs (which is what the cc is based off of) tend to be obsessed with matching mouth flaps. Which then leads to the different translation from what is actually being said in the original language. I haven't been really paying attention to it in this drama so I'm not sure if thats why the ccs are so different, but I know that it happens alot in anime.

Hi! I'm italian and yes, italians do eat spicy food but not as much as Koreans do. A lot of italian recipes are spicy like 'penne all'arrabbiata' which literally translates to 'angry penne' (penne is a type of pasta) and spicy salame (which we often put on a pizza called 'pizza diavola' = 'devil pizza') and also in maaaany meat and fish recipes! As Vincenzo said, in Italy chili pepper is also said to bring good luck your way so many people bring chili pepper around with them or have a chili pepper shaped pendant on necklaces, bracelets etc... This is more prominent in the south of Italy as they are more superstitious. There are tons of superstitions related to food in Italy and that's why there are many sets of rules that Italians follow while eating (e.g. don't pass the salt container to a person hand in hand but, if they ask for it, place it near them so that they can take it for themselves). Many of those are related to our past and culture (the salt thing is because in the past salt was very precious so you had to be as careful as ever when touching/moving it or handing it to someone). The average Italian handles spicy food pretty well, but still not as much as Koreans as we don't eat it as much. Vincenzo's reaction to the 짬뽕 was hilarious and actually really accurate ahahahaha. Also, yes we do eat a lot of pasta and pizza, the stereotype is actually pretty true but we also eat a lot of risotto (especially in the north) and many many meat and fish recipes. Hope this was interesting!! :D

to answer your question, i hate choi myung hee so much! like a lot! she’s totally not a good person. with the subs, i am thinking if you can use a vpn and watch vincenzo in netflix anywhere in asia? cos really it seems to me that whoever from netflix us subbed the drama wants to create his own characters. you can also check onetouchtv though im not sure if its viewable via desktop. and dramacool as well, they have 1080p there. i hope you can find new source for this drama, or just choose the English [CC] cos it’s kinda better than the one you are using. i noticed that youre not that pissed off with the subs that during ep 2 so. i really love this show and watching your reaction gives me joy.

For Myung Hee she's definitely a character that I love to hate. The actress is just so good at creating a character that is as evil as she chooses to be, which in the end is why I think so many of us hate her. She's very Cersei from GOT evil, she knows what she's doing and the damage and death it will cause but she doesn't care, she choses to go through with it all anyway. And then Taecyeon's character (which you will definitely see developed/fleshed out more in upcoming episodes) is just so........ like villainy hot??? if that makes sense???? where like I get that he's doing this because he's evil but like also....... sexi. Idk, maybe it's just because he does seem like he genuinely likes Cha Young and that defs doesn't humanize him but like I guess it's relatable because I too wish to date her so like???? Ignore my bisexual ramblings about evil and morally grey characters, it's simply my brand lmaoooooo

Heya PD, looks like your SUB are the same as ENG audio, try switching to ENG audio with ENG sub (not the CC one) you should get that broken dub and sub, after that swap back to KOR with ENG sub it should be "normal" like everyone else have. anyone who sees this feel free to confirm this with me thx.
