Loved this reaction so much, i really adored this album! im 18 so im not sure if im still considered one of the 'youngsters' but frost is easily my favourite song. then again im a big ashnikko fan and she was one of the producers! gave me very strong alt rock and hyperpop influences which i adored.

Thank you for listening to it PD! The company is starting to give the boys more creative freedom, so the members participated a LOT in the songwriting and producing of the songs on this LP, so it’s pretty special to the boys and MOA! Kai is the main producer for Dear Sputnik! He made it on his phone, then the BigHit producers liked it and they worked together on the final product! Also Frost is INSANE, they worked with Ashnikko on this one and it definitely shows!

You probably already know this now, but it’s Huening Kai and Taehyun who do the chorus for “Frost” and my initial reaction was just pure satisfaction. Idk why but Tae just never really caught my eye initially but with this album he pushed his voice to new heights and limits and with Frost, I was sold on his ability and his talent. It was refreshing, terrifying, and my favorite track

The album’s name is literally The CHAOS Chapter: Freeze! It is all over the place but it’s good chaos! You could really feel that they worked hard on this album! Even the title track was delayed for 3 weeks (according to RM). This album is where all members had most participation with writing! Huening Kai is one of the producers of Dear Sputnik too! And yes it was Huening Kai’s voice at the start of Frost 👌

This is definitely my favorite TXT Album so far. The other albums have great songs here and there but not to the extent of this one! Anti romantic, no rules, and frost are my favorites. I like Ice Cream the least but that is not to say it's a bad song, I just don't like it as much as the rest of the songs on the album. All in all definitely a 10/10 for me as well!

A no skip album still belongs to Dream Chapter Magic for me (Runaway era). But frost comes close. I only skip Ice cream cause I cannot stand the lyrics lmao. But my fav tracks are definitely Dear Sputnik. It reminded me of Evanescence oddly enough and what made me love it more. It's amazing that Hueningkai manage to produce that on his phone. Frost is my 2nd fav cause honestly it felt very theatrical. The laughing gave me creeps and it felt like it was sung by someone truly lost their mind. Was impressed by their vocal acting. And I know I love you is SOTY for me. No one has taken that throne yet for this year except them.

The production quality of this album is really high cuz it has really amazing writers and producers on it. There’s RM and Mod Sun on the 0x1, ashnikko on frost and Ollie murs on magic to name a few. And the best part is Dear Sputnik is almost entirely produced by Huening Kai! It makes me so proud. T-T

Frost has got to be one of my favorite songs on the album and it is in fact, both Taehyun and Soobin who do those screaming parts within it.

I really liked TXT but I was just a casual listener but this album OMG just made me listen to all their albums and this is the album I never knew I needed. It's just 10/10 for me. I love all the tracklist but my faves are I know I love u, Dear Sputnik and Frost. You can see I'm also a emo punk alternative rock lover and I am happy now. I have most of TXT discography on repeat. This album just made me a MOA.

Yeah this album is totally my favorite of theirs! I love how versatile TXT are with their music and (in my opinion) how they're able to succeed in experimenting with the different genres. Thanks PD for giving their album a listen, loved the reaction!

This album is definitely a 10/10, their best album so far! All of the members participated in the album, so that might be why it sounds even better produced compared to their previous albums. Also Huening Kai is the main producer of "Dear Sputnik", he made the demo for the song. In "Frost" the first chorus is sung by Huening Kai and Taehyun and the second chorus is sung by Taehyun and Soobin! They really showed growth. Overall this whole album is incredible and i can't wait for their next one!

Ok so a comment has mentioned that Hueningkia had a big hand in producing Dear Sputnik, but also Taehyun helped write the melody, as well as Yeonjun helped with lyrics. In fact all the members had a hand on pretty all the songs (minor exception of Soobin who only has his lyrics added into Ice Cream). This album is TRULY freaking amazing and SOOOO well constructed and produced! Hahaha when I first heard Frost I literally had my face in my hands coz I was so overwhelmed🙈😆

PD, I think you and I are probably from the same generation 😅 That’s probably the reason why this album resonated so much with me (aside from the fact that it’s just a great album full stop), because it really reminded me of that whole early 00s alt/indie rock era. It was such a delight to revisit my greatest favoured music genre, to remember exactly what I loved about it. This is definitely a no skip album for me, too.

I m going to pretend like you didn t totally forgot about Yeonjun' s Cat and Dog rap part cause it s one of his best, also some of his others are in Puma, New Rules, Way Home (which I think is the only song from the last album you haven t heard) and these are what I remember with bigger verses but everyone feel free to correct me, but I m glad he got to show off more in this album Also the set looks AMAZING

At first I didn't think much of "What if I have been that Puma" & "Frost". I like the song but I tend to enjoy song with visuals (like performances) a bit more and then the rest of the songs grow on me. But as I relisten to the album all of the songs are so unique that it's a 10/10 album for me. I really enjoy the diversity of genre they offered in this project and I can't wait to see where it's gonna lead them in the future. (I also really like the remix version of 0x1= Love Song with PH-1 and Woodie Gochild, you should listen to it it's a bit more emotional since it's stripped down)

I haven't been a big txt fan. But this album did it for me. I was just so surprised by this album. I finally even made an effort to get to know the guys and i am so happy that i gave them a chance this time. But well after listening to i know i love you how could i not !? Also does anyone like the remix with ph-1 and woodie gochild ? The original cant be beaten but oh my god the remix is so so good.

Thanks for your reaction, PD! As always, it was very interesting to hear your perspective and see you enjoy TXT's songs. I agree that it's a no skip album and I'm not biased because TXT has only become one of my top 5 artists very recently. For me, this is one of the best albums I've heard my whole life. The first time I listened to it from beginning to end, I cried tears of joy because I never thought I'd hear an album in my lifetime that feels so perfectly tailor-made for me. It's like they made a map of my mind at this exact point in my life and created an album out of it. I know it's just an illusion and it's the purpose of the producers to make you feel like that but it still feels like magic and I can't wrap my head around how it's possible. Anti-Romantic is probably my least favorite song on here, but it's still a 9/10 and all the rest are 10/10. My absolute favorites are Frost, Magic and Dear Sputnik. Frost is THE song for me, it's perfect, addictive, powerful, just the right amount of aggressive and I love it so fucking much. We probably come from the same generation PD (I'm 31) and grew up listening to the same alt-rock and emo artists and I loved this album so much because it draws so heavily from the sounds of that era. It also has a lot of hip-hop elements of the late 90s, early 2000s which I also adore.

What if i had been that puma? has had a DEATH grip on me since i first listened to it and is definitely my favourite song on the album, which i was really surprised about cause i too generally hate autotune used stylistically. This is probably one of my favourite kpop albums this year along with monsta x - one of a kind, p1harmony- break out and dpr ian - moodswings in this order. Also loving the new setup!

I also really love this album. I can’t say it’s my favorite since I’ve fallen in love with all of their Albums but it definitely grabbed me faster than some of their other albums. My top three songs are I know I love you,Anti-Romantic, and Frost. The impact of the title,the feel and and how I relate to anti-romantic, and the sound of Frost are why they are my top three. I wasn’t raised on rock or alt-rock but I listen to a lot of it so hearing Dear Sputnik and Frost wasn’t shocking or new, it was very satisfying to hear one of my favorite groups doing a genre I really like. I really enjoyed this album and it has been on repeat for me. I loved hearing your opinion on it!!

This is probably the first time where txt made me /really/ interested in their album. I have always enjoyed their title tracks but largely didn’t care to listen to the album. 0x1= love song is sooo good. I immediately went and listened to the album and was quite blown away. Frost is probably my favorite b-side. But I think this might be one of my favorite albums of the year.

I felt the same way about the chorus of Ice Cream upon first listen but then I read the lyrics and I think the metaphor is so strong, it's just impossible to hear it the same way. Also, Anti-Romantic reminds me of Akon's Don't Matter and I know that sounds weird but I really just mean in that they are 100% the hits they are because of their melody. There's no rise and fall, no powerful drops, no massive climaxes...it's just a really level toned song with a really infectious melody that you could listen to for a loop on hours. I really think Anti-Romantic has the staying power to be one of the songs TXT is ultimately remembered for. Also, I just want to say, I think BigHit learned a lot through their trials and tribulations with BTS and now has limitless resources bc of BTS so it only makes sense that TXT is progressing at a faster pace. I imagine Enhypen will too. The company wouldn't be the behemoth it is today if they weren't able to grow like that. Of course it takes more than that to get to where BTS is and I don't think it's something that is a given for anyone. But TXT has a lot of talent and a lot of potential and a bright, open, paved road ahead of them. They'll do great things. More and more impressed by them with every album.

Frost is definitely one of my favourites, including I know I love you, no rules and dear sputnik. Also! The second person doing the vocal shredding is Huening Kai!! Both of them talked about having a hard time getting used to the technique, and how it got easier as time went on, so taehyun + huening kai = rocker duo!!!

I was only a casual fan of TXT before this, I loved their songs but I was never a full blown Moa. This album and this era is so good, I went out and bought two copies after I heard it because it was so good and I wanted to support them, and I have not bought an album in a long time. Easily their best so far, which is crazy because their entire discography is insane. The Blue Hour mini was my favorite before this. I can’t wait to see what they have in store in the future!

I really wanted to hear what you had to say about this album PD! I personally didn't like TXT (more like I had never paid attention to them) until Lovesong and when I listened to this album I knew I had to listen to the rest of their discography cuz it is just THAT good. It might be one of the best produced Kpop albums I've heard since I started listening to Kpop 5 years ago. The vocals are just amazing and my favourite song HAS to be Frost, I think it might be one of my favourite Kpop Bsides ever it's just so like... violent? in the best way. As a zoomer (I'm 20) I have heard songs with agressive screaming before in for example Twenty one Pilots or like Rock in general, but It still shook me because I just don't really expect that sound from a Kpop group. They killed that chourus, I've heard the song many times and it never stops hitting hard, it's insane.

This is my favorite txt album too!! Probably one of my fave kpop albums too maybe in top 3. The title track especially it's my favorite and my fave bside changes every week LMFAO every single song is just so good. More than the outstanding and excellent sound, the lyrics are so good too i love how they tackled the confusion and mundane troubles that come with leaving adolescence and entering adulthood. It's a perfect album for me and deserves all the recognition.

I'm so proud of Kai for producing Dear Sputnik! Frost is my all time favourite TXT song now too, I really like Ashnikko and she wrote on the song too! You can definitely hear her influence in the track. Taehyun, Kai and Soobin all do the raspy shreddy vocals! TCC: Freeze is such a good album. 0X1, Dear Sputnik and Frost are the top tracks for me

I always saw TXT just floating around in the kpop space and listened to their promoted tracks and quite enjoyed them. But they never really caught my interest more than that. Until I listened to I know I love you and especially Taehyun's voice in it. It made me interested in the rest of the album and I absolutely LOVED it, like every single song. When listening to it for the first time apart from I know I love you, Icecream was my favorite because I listened to it with headphones too and it was just so well made. After a while now I'd say No Rules is my favorite along with Dear Sputnik. But definitely no skips at all. This album amazed me to the extend that I started listening to the rest of their music, watching their content and in the end stanning them. 5 days after the album came out I just ordered all of their albums released until then. Damn it Taehyun, his voice ended up being very expensive for me 😂

Thank you so much for the LP! Definitely no skip album for me as well. I have listened to it so many times on spotify, just on my way to somewhere or only chilling at home. Regarding Magic and No rules, it's exactly as you said. During the original comeback promotions, they were performing the title track but also No Rules on music shows. And right after those promotions ended, before even getting an MV, they released a performance of Magic for Good Morning America (which had the fandom raving, because who would have thought that song was meant to be promoted as well, though it was fitting). Then the Magic MV came out and also more performances in music shows and also US shows. So yeah, I guess No Rules was more intended to appeal to Korean audiences, and Magic more as a globally appealing song. ALSO, for whenever we get the Boy Group livestream, can someone request that PD reacts to the Band Version of I know I love You? It was on Sketchbook. for me I loved Frost since the moment I heard it. I’m 17 but grew up hearing lots of rock and hip hop because my parents both like those genres so I think that definitely influenced my opinion. also you should check out the No Rules live stages, Soobin absolutely kills the choreo. thank u PD for doing this listening party!!!!

frost has gotta be my fave song on the album, it’s the kind of concept that I wanted a group to do for a long time and txt was the perfect group to do it. it personally gave me nostalgic vibes because I grew up listening to rock from my family. but, from a zoomer standpoint it’s actually a really good move on hybe for producing this song because with old trends like 90’s style and alternative rock fashion making a comeback, so is the music from that time. so, frost is perfect right now. like, take olivia rodrigo’s song brutal. it’s easily one of the most loved songs on her album due to the rock elements.

I LOVE this album! As expected they never dissapointed me. And I gotta say, this is the first album from them where I like the title track the most. I usually prefer their b-sides but lovesong is just too good. And after lovesong Frost is my most played song from the album.

They all took parts of composing/producing/song writing in this album, idk maybe that's the special thing in this album. TXT's songs doesnt particularly have a rap part, probably that's why you didnt get the chance to hear more of Yeonjun's rap. I hope we'll in the future *-*

My favorite on the album is definitely Dear Sputnik, as it just seems to unlock this happiness inside of me and makes me jam out. Though my reaction to frost was to headbang and nonstop smiling; I wasn't expecting it to do what it did.

I'm 19 so growing up there was still a lot of rock and grunge songs being produced and trending at that time and I used to loveee listening to them. So hearing the rock vibes that were focused on in this album made me feel so nostalgic and I absolutely love it even more because of that.

I absolutely LOVE this album!!! Dear Sputnik is my favorite song on album then Puma 2.0, Frost, and No Rules. When I first heard Frost I had the same facial expression I was like what the heck is this but kept moving with the beat I think i listen to this song more than Puma 2.0 LOL!!!!. The top three songs I listen to alot are Dear Sputnik, No rules, and FROST so maybe those are my favorite LOL.

My top 3 1. 0 Love 2 . Frost 3. Anti-Romantic I didn't like the first line of Frost the first time I heard it, but I had my mouth open for the rest of the song. I really like the "really lost my mind, really, really, really lost it" part. I like the use of the laughs and the vocal tears too. I think What If and No Rules have interesting melodies/ instrumentals. The part where it goes darker and more bass sounding in What If I Had Been that Puma sounds like a callback to Puma. I feel like Lovesong is the first time were I as a non moa see the real difference in their voices, because it was hard to tell sometimes prior to this. I could tell Taehyun's voice and Yeonjun when he was rapping or using that more scratchy voice. Maybe it's because rock is usually more rough, but it really helped me distinguish their voices more. It's especially apparent after the first chorus when it goes Soobin, Taehyun, Yeonjun, Beomgyu. I'm also not entirely sure, but I feel like Lovesong was their most equal line distribution this far, or at least I felt like I saw everyone and can pinpoint who did what. I think the most rapping I remember hearing from Yeonjun is Puma. It was very snappy there with the phrasing, voice and the way they edited the mv. He raps in New Rules too.

I'm 21, so some of the bands I listened to were Marianas Trench, Twenty-One Piolets,The Cab, Set It Off, We The Kings, The Ready Set, and The Summer Set. Some of My Favorites are: Love Killer, Wolf in Sheep's Clothing, Check Yes Juliet, Lovesick Fool, One Love, Desperate Measures, The Killing Kind, B Team, Fallout, Ever After, Toy Soldiers, Skin and Bone. It was nice to see some more rock elements in this album. With A.C.E's rock trilogy and Frost and Lovesong I really wanna see more rock, punk, and alt sounds in kpop.

Yes!!!! I LOVE this album, it’s also my favorite TXT album it’s just so good!! For me, the only skip is Ice Cream simply because it’s TOO catchy. I’ll have “you scream I scream I scream you scream” going through my head all day if I listen to it and it drives me nuts lol. But Frost…. Frost my beloved, what a fantastic song. It really plays on my alt rock/emo heartstrings too, and it gets me so pumped. I’m always excited to hear that song I adore it. Dear Sputnik is another fave too. I really like Magic, too, even though it is kinda simple. I just like how bouncy it is, and the dance for it makes me like it a lot more tbh, the dance is so fun and exciting. It’s fun to sing along to too!! Overall 10/10 album for me, fave TXT album and honestly? One of my fave Kpop albums in general. Loved the reaction, sorry you had so much trouble with the heat!! It’s killer this year, stay safe! Edit: another thing about Frost!! The laughs!! I love laughs in songs for some reason, especially slightly… crazy? ones like in the beginning of Frost. this album!!! AMAZING. This is also my favorite TXT album so far, after minisode1, and I’m so excited to see where they go in the future. I’m definitely biased toward TXT so I think every album has been a “no-skip,” but this takes the cake. I’m a “zoomer” and I looooooove every genre they tackled here. I believe a lot of gen z also grew up on emo/alt music, especially if you lived in the States during that era. As a MOA, I think the fandom was so happy to see TXT go this route and I can say that as a collective, Frost is probably in everyone’s top 3 for the album. It’s my personal favorite and I literally had the same reaction as you did when I first heard it. I’d love to see you react to the No Rules + Magic stages as well as their upcoming comeback which is a repackage of Freeze! Thanks for the great video PD :) Edit: also, this album has basically been scored at an 80/100 on average by critics AND 100/100 by NME (they join the list of less than 200 albums IN HISTORY to get a perfect score from NME). So happy to see their music being recognized :’)

i hope you react to their comeback stages! no rules + magic and 0x1=lovesong :) im gen z and when i heard frost and dear sputnik i was so shocked. i have never listened to rock but i immediately loved these songs so much. it's like TXT totally introduced this genre to me. also the person laughing in "Frost" is hueningkai. soobin, taehyun, and huenging were mainly the people straining their voices. im so glad that all the members participated in producing and writing in this album.

dear sputnik and frost truly are the album standouts, like they really are some of the most unique songs I've ever heard in kpop. also, I grew up with my parents listening to 90s alt rock and punk music, and I've had frost on repeat for WEEKS and weeks. it was a delightful surprise to me.

I completely agree this is their best album yet!! Frost and what if I had been that Puma are my favorites on the album, I actually love the stylistic effects of the auto tune as well as just the production in general on that song! And for Frost, I had the same reaction you did to first hearing it, it was very unexpected and I LOVED it!!! Kai’s unhinged laugh in the beginning drew me in right away and I just loved everything about the song lol! Ice Cream is another favorite, I can’t really describe why but it just has this attitude to it that I love! I actually wasn’t too crazy about No Rules the first time I heard it, New Rules is one of my favorite TXT songs so I had high expectations because of the obvious references to it, but for some reason it didn’t really hit at first. but it’s grown on me a lot since then as I’ve found time to really sit down and enjoy the album more. And as others have pointed out, dear Sputnik was produced by Heuningkai! Both of the songs he’s produced are among my top TXT songs, I can’t wait to see what he does in the future! I hope you’ll do a listening party to their repackage album next month as well as the live stages! 🥰

Thank you for the listening party, PD! I highly agree on your thoughts and scores except Magic. When I first heard Magic without any performance, I thought the same as you. No Rules definitely outshines Magic sound-wise. But after watching their performance, I changed my score to 9/10. The choreography is so fun to just vibe with and live vocals without the slight auto-tune, especially in the GMA one, has changed my view on how the song could sound. Honestly, every TXT song gets better with the performance engraved to your brain IMO. That aside, here's my additional thoughts on the album. I prefer listening to their discography in tracklist order because they all have great flow in full album listen and Anti-romantic was a great opener to the album. The mellow song that ends with humming and percussion which leads into 0X1=Lovesong's intro was just magnificent. Magic was such a drastic change from the title track but it fits well with the theme of the album, 'Chaos'. Ice cream, Korean title 소악행(Little deeds of evil), has an interesting mixing. That 'trapped in a box/bucket' sound really amplifies the childish "I want everyone to be unhappy like me" theme of the lyrics IMO. And totally agree with you on Balance Game(too lazy to write the english title lol), the auto-tune is 100% a stylistic choice and I personally hate them as well. Unrelated to the song itself, but I think this song will have more impact with Fight or Escape repackage release. Since the song itself is about picking A or B. No Rules, definitely a bop. It was a bop ever since the first listen, but performance of it is just chef's kiss on this great song. You just burst with energy when this song come up and start to dance along! Great continuation of their previous song New Rules too. Dear Sputnik, first song produced by Hueningkai, bridge topline done by Taehyun. The song is such a 'Hueningkai song' if you know him enough. He loves band sound with slight j-rock influence into it. Which, this song perfectly portrays. I believe those are fake drums with effects on them since Hueningkai said he wrote the sample of this with Garageband. I love this song because one, I'm definitely a sucker for band sound. Two, it's just such a sweet song! You can just imagine this being performed at a concert with many fans, calling fans a 'Sputnik' of them, could have a live band with it as well... The transition from No Rules to this was also nice. Very nice way of calming you down enough but still having that lingering hype. Lastly, Frost. Just like how Anti-romantic was a great opener, Frost was great finisher to this album. Maximizing the 'Chaos' theme with a wow factor of experimental vocals was nice way of summarizing the album. The raspy voices that you were curious about should be Hueningkai/Taehyun for first chorus, Taehyun/Soobin for the second chorus. I personally really liked how Hueningkai sang the '날 부르는 voices, I'm in chaos now' part. I don't know how to describe it, but it just hooks you in with how different he sounds from Beomgyu's low voice prior to his line. Little trivia before ending my thoughts, Yeonjun participated on finalizing the lyrics of both Balance Game and Frost. The members participated on so many parts in this album and as a fan, it's great to see them grow as an artist :D Overall, very nice album with the play on their concept of 'chaos'. Their discography doesn't normally feel very all over the place, but this one definitely tackled variety of genres in one which I really liked. The repackage album of Freeze will be coming out on August 17th and I hope you do one for that too but if you don't want to, that's fine as well! Glad you enjoyed this album and once again, thank you so much for the listening party!

PD have you listened to any of TXT's Japanese releases? If not I think you'd really enjoy Everlasting Shine, its an amazing song and it sounds nothing like their usual releases. Even if you don't make a reaction to it I hope you listen to it on your own time, it's really a song worth listening to! (they also used it as an opening track for black clover which is pretty cool)

Dear Sputnik, No Rules, and Frost are my favorite b-sides in this album. Overall, I think Freeze ranks as my second favorite TXT album, just behind minisode1: Blue Hour. Eternity is very close behind in 3rd with Magic as 4th and Star is 5th. I think minisode 1 was the most cohesive album they’ve released. I’m not sure if you’ve reacted to this album but it’s absolutely amazing. Ghosting and Wishlist are just such legendary bsides, Blue Hour is so darn addicting the more you listen to it, and the album is just a bit more consistent than Freeze overall. However, Freeze is very close behind due to an outstanding title track and 4 absolutely amazing bsides (No Rules, Dear Sputnik, Frost, and Anti-Romantic).

For me the rank always changes through times tho lol but my anthems are Dear Sputnik, PUMA 2 (couldn't agree more that they used tooooo much unnecessary auto tune), Frost. And you asked if there are more yeonjun rapping in other songs I'd like to say PUMA. You once shook by the punch of him in listening party tho lol.

I'm so glad you liked Frost. When I first heard it it blew my mind! Out of their entire discography it's my favorite song they've ever done. This entire album was just so well produced. Thank you for making a video on The Chaos Chapter: Freeze also I love the setup!

oh wow. Gen Z here and before I even discovered pop (in any language) ever, I grew up on rock and ballads. Western (mostly American) rock and Chinese ballads, and that was largely due to my sister who's definitely a millennial. I adore rock. I love rock. TXT is so rock this album and I love it.

So, the songs that I had to get used to were Ice Cream and the Puma song. Ice Cream, it was the chorus. I remember when I first heard it and I was just like, "what the hell is this". As far as Puma, it's the damn autotune. I don't know why BigHit/Hybe producers like to use it so much now but the OVERUSE of it in this song kills it for me. They can all sing and sound amazing but I hate it. So, if there was no autotune or just a sprinkle I would like this song much more. Now, when it came to the other songs, I totally love them but Dear Sputnik and Frost are my FAVORITE tracks. As someone who is close to your age I believe (I turned 30 this year ;P) these two songs spoke to my rocker chick soul. Besides "k-pop" the other genre of music I mostly listen to is rock/metal from the 90's which is more grunge up to the most recent stuff. Anyway, I really like this album. Despite Ice Cream and Puma not being my favorites this is a no skip album for me and TXT has a tendency to be able to that. *Edit* I forgot to mention that there are a few rapping parts in a lot of their songs however you did state that you don't listen to them as much so you may not recall. But yeah, there are quite a few rapping parts in their songs, mainly B-sides but yes they do rap.

This whole album is EPIC!! Ive been following TXT since debut but never really stanned until now! This album made me completely fall for TXT hardcore!! Every single song is so different and unique from each other somehow the whole album flows beautifully!! I know I Love You is my favorite song on the album and maybe my fav this year from anyone! Its so good and takes me back to that alt rock era early 2000s that I grew up with. Anti Romantic is also my fav type of song and Frost was just fucking insane!! Its the best song to listen to while driving and just blasting the bass!! Now that Im a MOA Im going back and really learning TXTs albums and they're really one of the most unique sounding kpop groups ever and they're so good and doing amazing! Im so proud of them! Also Soobin wrote Ice Cream!!! and theres a dance video for No Rules its freaking insane!

Regarding the auto tune on vocals- I, myself, greatly dislike it. But I find the songs are easier to listen to as long as I’m not wearing headphones! So when I like a song but dislike the auto tune on the vocals, I make sure to remember to only listen to it out loud, from a speaker and to avoid headphones

First off, some people are messing with your new setup, PD. I absolutely dig it too! Now, about what I thought of the album... when I first heard it, it was actually when I was walking to get my second dose of the Moderna vaccine. I managed to listen to all of the songs by the time I made it to the pharmacy, and it somehow made becoming fully vaccinated more rewarding (like finishing an adventure)! But I agree with one of the things you mentioned, which is that some of the songs cannot be fully appreciated simply "in passing". That's why it took me a couple more listens to really favorite songs like No Rules, Dear Sputnik. But songs like Frost and Anti-Romantic clung to me right away on the first listen! I am part of Gen Z, and I think I had no problems enjoying the rock elements in this album, if only because I had a phase when I listened to rock music, through artists like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. I didn't grow up with rock, but I came to like it when I was in the middle of high school. So this didn't really throw me off at all. If anything, because of how different an approach this is for TxT, I quickly embraced this new sound for them!

Lovesong has been my favorite kpop song of all time if not one of my favorite songs of all time period. That being said I love this album and it was my favorite txt album before minisode 2 came out. I'm the kind of person who has a hard time actually disliking songs, but I just don't really like Ice Cream at all. No hate against the song, I don't think its at all a bad song, but its just not really my thing. That is also the reason I put minisode 2 above this album because for me, every song on that album is a 10/10. But man Frost and Dear Sputnik get me hyped everytime I listen to them.

There are way too many comments on this for me to check but Hueningkai and Soobin also do the vocal frying in the chorus! The order actually goes: Hueningkai > Taehyun > Soobin for the 3 choruses.
