The unit performances are some of my favorites from the whole show. I'll be honest, the first time I watched it I didn't pay much attention to the Save Me performance because I was so impressed by Heeseung in Butterfly. It's one of my all-time favorite songs to begin with and the performance was the first time I'd really heard Heeseung's voice. But as I've watched the show again (I think this is my 4th or 5th time lol), Sunoo's performance has stood out more and more. His voice is so good!! Daniel and Geonu were both really good as well, but I don't think they have the same level of camera/stage presence as Heeseung and Sunoo showed. The more I've watched the more impressed I am by Sunoo.

Sunoo and Daniel Performance gave me shivers and my eyes watered. I don't know why. it just happened. Depending on how the judges would vote.. if its for the performance side I would vote for GROUND but if its for the vocals themselves... Heesung alone knocked it out the park for me. Sunoo really made me notice him and solidified himself a a 'pick' for me

This Save me performance got me chills the first time I saw it and now is my 5th time rewatching iland with ya and I still get the goosebumps, so so good. Sunoo is really absolutely captivating.

The Jay switch, you will see in the next ep why that happened! As a Heeseung biased person, I always love hearing him and Geonu perform Butterfly, the stability satisfies me so much and the way they hit the moves. OH but Sunoo and Daniel, you can just hear the desperation in their voices, Save Me for their unit is perfect for the grounders' situation. Like literally SAVE THEM Don't be afraid to season things! I think it's cool to get your thoughts out now with us and see if your perspective changes later on, you know?

Love unfiltered PD and I don't think your comments were harsh in any way, just honest and realistic. This is my first time watching this show as well and all I know about Enhypen is their debut song, so I am clueless as to what the final member lineup will be like, but I agree that Sungcheol and Nicholas are not making it, at least in terms of this show; but who knows! Some people I didn't consider too threatening, in comparison to the other trainees, really shined on this episode and I was so pleasantly surprised and impressed by them.

Well fuck me... I think Patreon did get rid of my comment... gahhhh it was me "responding" to some of your main comments throughout the entire episode... Well, here's what I remember... ---- Wow!! What a good day for you to drop this reaction!!! I got accepted to 3 of my favorite schools, and I can enjoy my day watching your reaction! ~I really appreciate you liking Sunoo!! (I'll admit, Sunoo wasn't my favorite during I-land, but I really admired him for his personality, and his talent!! (the only reason why he wasn't my favorite is that I liked other people more.) ~I personally think that the Grounder's performance was better than the I-landers mainly because of their all-black outfits and fierceness. Not that the I-landers weren't fierce, they were. I just got the feeling from the Grounders. ~I agree with you! If Heeseung isn't in one group, the center would've been Jay! ~Not gonna lie, I was kind of shocked that Taki and EJ were in the top 6..... nothing against them! I just think that some other contestants did better. ~I agree entirely with K being 1st and Heeseung being 2nd! ~I remember wondering why Sunoo was eliminated back to Ground, even though he was in the top 6!! Like, he was clearly on top, why should he leave??! ~When K used his save card on Jungwon, I remember being so happy!! Then I was so heartbroken when it was revealed that Taki was the next in line!! I knew that K didn't entirely consider that when using his save card, especially since he stated many times that he would use it on Taki. ~I still think that Ni-Ki should've been moved back to I-Land, instead of Kyungmin. Like what you mentioned, I remember not noticing Kyungmin during the performance. ~I really liked how the Ilanders made multiple groups!! It sort of showed how they're slowly learning from their past mistakes. ~I remember not really liking Sungchul mainly due to his many negative comments. ~Let's be honest, you can't grow from your mistakes if you can't accept your mistakes, as well as try to think you did well. Sungchul is doing none of these things. ~Sunoo's voice is absolutely amazing for Save Me!! ~And Daniel is defiantly the best choice for the Grounders instead of Sungchul. ~I remember preferring Jaeho's dancing to Hanbin's. Even after they temporarily swapped them. ~To answer your question about why Sunghoon replaced Jay, it will be explained in the next episode!! It's for a perfectly understandable reason! It's not due to a random reason like the Into The I-Land performance situation. ~Heeseung and Geonu's performance of Butterfly was amazing!! Their vocals were so good! *I haven't watched this performance in a long time, so it was a nice refresher for me!! ~Same with Sunoo and Daniel's performance!! Their vocals were amazing in this performance!! ~I honestly agree with you! I really liked Sunoo and Daniel's performance better! I could really feel their emotions in their performance!!! ---- I think I wrote down everything that I had previously commented in my deleted comment. I feel like I might have missed a couple of points that I disagreed or agreed with, but I guess that doesn't really matter! Enjoy my thoughts.....?? I guess?? lol!

When I first watched this, I didn't know who would make it into Enhypen, so rewatching this is quite interesting. I was excited to come back to this episode because I remember being impressed with the vocal performances, but wow, Sunoo and Daniel's performance was so captivating, I almost wanted to tear up. The judges are right, whatever the Grounders lack in skill, they make for with such grit and determination.

Yay! I'm so excited for the next episode, I'm a big fan of Enhypen but watching it for the first time with you so I get so excited every time you post even if I know who debuts and who doesn't. Unfortunately, I'm in the military and will be leaving on deployment soon so I'll probably miss the rest of your reviews, sorry PD! I definitely thought that the Grounder vocal representative did better job. As you said, and as the PD (was it Pdogg?) said, the Grounder performance moved me more than the Ilander. It's interesting to hear your thoughts and predictions on who is going to make it and who is not. I am also interested to hear whether you agree/disagree with how the PDs/trainers score the performances on the next episode (and the reasoning if you disagree).

I love how Sunoo was like ME ME I CAN SING THAT HIGH just after getting his ass voted off for the second time lol. I remember being so frustrated like "what do these kids have against Sunoo???????" but in a way, that gave Sunoo a chance to shine and show off his talents. There was a moment in Save me where Sunoo was furrowing his eyebrows but immediately relaxed when facing Daniel, and Im obsessed. I think i contributed to half of Save me perf views lol

I forgot Jungwon almost ended up being voted to the ground! Also I prefer the ground vocal performance compared to I-lands, and it always pleased me that Sunoo got to perform vocally, because I feel like that was the first time the people in the I-land really understood that Sunoo got talent and he is a force that could shake them up. Like that was the moment they realized that they f*cked up when they send Sunoo to the ground, alongside Ni-ki!

I remember fighting Sunoo antis in the Youtube comments when the show was airing lol. People saying he only have looks and charms like gurl are you blind? He has GREAT vocal talent and his dancing is not as good as the dance line but he isnt falling back either. Anyways he was my ultimate in ILAND. Just brought back memories lol
