Oof this story is portrayed so well and captures so many emotions. I am thankful that I am at a point in my life/mental health journey that I can feel these emotions and cry along side them. I used to be so closed off and emotionally removed, and while it hurts so much to crack yourself open and face your demons, there can be a release once you do.

This is one of my favourite episodes. Gang tae his brother and their mother are very realistic characters. He loves his brother but of course sometimes its too hard to for him. Also Kim So Hyun killed this role. I can never watch a scene of him crying and not cry my self

For different reasons, but yes I identified a LOT with Gang Tae and even Moon Young sometimes while watching this drama. I was very detached and that came out as bitchy and cynical. I’d say I started as more of a Moon Young closer to the time of my childhood trauma while I was a preteen/early teenage years and shifted to a Gang Tae in later high school and through my early 20s. Probably just because I got better at hiding it and putting on a good face.

just wanted to mention that seo ye ji is such a underrated actress and I'm so happy she's blowing up. For "Save Me", she basically locked herself in a room alone for 2 weeks and was impacted to the point that she almost became her character. Also for "Another Way" she inhaled burning coal and actually almost died for a suicide scene. She's been my favorite actress since Save Me and Lawless Lawyer

Seo Yeji is really amazing. They both are. Not to forget the Actor that plays Sangtae.

Oh god, I relate to the scene of him being left in the rain so much. I used to do that as a kid all the time, just trail behind to see if anyone noticed; usually at airports or whilst shopping and I don't think anyone ever did (middle child and only girl syndrome). I held stuff like that against my parents so much amongst other things which were more serious. But, when I hit 18/19 I realised that just because no one turned around to hold my hand didn't mean they didn't care. We would usually come back and my mum would pull something out that she bought without me knowing and say 'you said you needed this for school' or 'this would go really well in your room' and I would completely miss that coz I was sulking lol. I also realised that putting myself in situations where I knew I could tell myself I was the victim was very unhealthy. It creates distance for no reason and can make for a toxic environment. I'm so happy I realised whilst I could still mend my relationship. I feel for GT that he realised after his mum had already passed on.
