With Ko Moon Young, you definitely have to keep watching the drama in order to understand why she acts the way she does. From a clinical perpective the way she acts makes total sense.

It's definitely a show that drops in subtle hints to future plot lines haha. Watching it for the second time with you and I actually understand it so much more than I did the first time since I've finished it. I think you will absolutely love Seo Ye-Ji... her acting is phenomenal in it! The only comment I found funny PD was you saying "what is she wearing!" cause I am absolutely obsessed with all the outfits in this show HAHA

Seo Ye Ji's character here is definitely intended to be a complex one. No one can understand her. She's unpredictable. And mentally unstable. Just by looking at episode 1 you can definitely tell she's mentally ill. And to be paired with someone with Kim Soo Hyun's character, it is going to be interesting. You're someone that I really want to know on how you will commentate this complex show as you seem to be full of understanding and wisdom. Will definitely wait for Episode 2!

Lol I remember having a similar reaction to you about the children’s book! Like “who would read that to a child?!” The drama changed my initial opinion btw. Several of the books were published after the drama ended and I would buy them if the international shipping wasn’t ridiculous!

ohhh wooooow I know everyone was really into this drama and my friend loved it, but I haven't been in a drama-watching mood lately. Watching with PD is fun bc it motivates me to actually watch along and continue. I loved this ep! Honestly it felt so sad and depressing and epic? That everytime the romance plotline switched on my brain was kinda jarred. I'm loving everything so far and the end of the ep was so... lmao classic and cheesy. The romance is kinda jarring so far tbh bc I'm so into the complicated and tragic backstories (man like, EVERYONE is sad) that I'm thrown everytime the drama hints at loooooove. But the chemistry and honestly the acting is really selling it. Both our main characters (esp Kim Soo Hyun tbh) look so ... kinda done with life and dead inside -- he just looks so weary.

I've been watching this bits at a time Bc it's heavy (and also I have to work 😔) but I really really hope they treat the autistic character well and handle him with care. I really really hope he has more of a personality than just "autism". If they nail it I'll probably cry tbh JDJDJD

I've watched the whole drama. And they nail every character. Everyone has depth , no one is defined just by their main characteristic. WARNING. A lot crying scenes are coming considering the autistic brother. Like A LOT. The actor playing him is amazing

Having Ye Ji and Soo Hyun on my screen again 💕💕. Watching it a second time just brings back all the emotions I felt tenfold as I kmow understand each character and their struggles and backstory. There is so much to unpick for each person, the validation the drama gives to their struggles and emotions I feel is unmatched
