I'm curious too! I personally think that (G)I-DLE was invited to perform with OH MY GIRL and share stage time. So, they chose DUMDi DUMDi because it was a brighter song that could match up with OH MY GIRL. And that's why I think they chose the song based on the situation.

Agree with the comment above the possibility that they performed DUMDi DUMDi to match Oh My Girl's Nonstop vibe more....but also could be that Cube did not want to spend an arm and a leg again for an epic Oh My God stage after last year's spending on a barrage of Lion's stages lol

It's possible that the reason why Lion was so epic was because Cube spent a lot of money, and that it would take also take a lot of money for OMG. Or maybe Soyeon wanted to match Oh My Girl's personality by choosing Dumdi Dumdi

I also agree with this theory. plus they weren't even nominated for a single award at MAMA, so I'm not sure if it would have been worth the effort. Although they did perform Oh my god at the FACT music awards on Sunday...and I'm sorry to say it didn't quite live up to the epicness of the Lion stages. I'm not quite sure what was going on :/ I wasn't a fan of Dumdi dumdi although I do enjoy it. Still I never thought the day would come where I would like a Dumdi dumdi stage more than an Oh my god stage.

For me this performance was a miss. Loved the live vocals but it only Promotion good to me. Nothing screamed End of Year Awards and I wish the girls had a better chance at showcasing their talent on stage. I would have prefered Oh My God for MAMA but I think they went with Dumbdi Dumbdi to mirror OMG’s vibe as an introduction before the collab. But even with that sound choice the stage could have been planed differently. On the other hand, can only keep expectations to a certain level before their next comeback. I am so not ready, the girls will blow our minds ❤️

I totally agreed that "Oh My God" is a better song & would have been a better performance. I'm curious about the Fact Music Award performance that the people above mention though. :P
