At the last part of the new world when they used their 6 keys on the cube (the cube belonged to why) they opened a portal for this new world. I dont exactly know the theory for this new comeback, the fandom is still clearing it up, but the fireworks that appear when e-tion is at the moon are from Oh My Girl - Remember Me so they are probably on the same world now as Oh My Girl. The concept itself I really liked it, it is a fresh summer vibe adapted by ONF but style has that ONF feeling. Thank you for this reaction PD

All the MVs are connected, even the RTK performances. I’m so happy that in 1 week they surpassed by 2 million their last MV and charted all songs in top 20 bugs and top 40 genie. Their max chart this comeback was 1# Bugs (first top chart) 4# Genie and 82# melOn

Yeah there was a recent video interview they did where they explained their music video a bit. If I remember correctly they said it was a prequel to their music videos or like it connect all their past music videos together using the sets and everything. I don’t know what the actual theory is but it is very cool to see them still keeping up their theme of music but still evolving or switching it up. From what I see all their fans love the song and the album and are very happy and excited for them this comeback

Hi PD I'm new here and have been secretly waiting for this :P This album of ONF is titled "SPIN OFF" and they said that it is literally a spin off from their original story line. I think that explains why it is musically and concept-wise different from their former title tracks. For the MV, they've talked about their characters in it so you are right on Wyatt goes on time travel and Hyojin stops time. People are all confused about the MV but at the same time so in love this song. (A little TMI on the song title: Sukhumvit is an area in Thailand where people can enjoy nightlife.) Thank you for all the reactions on ONF and I'm really glad you like them! I really hope you do a listening party on this mini album and all of their previous ones. Also, if you like this song because Hyojin dabs, you'll love their live stage because Hyojin flips water bottle ;) Thanks for the reaction!

Glad you loved it! Yeep all their mvs are related and have a storyline of androids and some of the members are one. ONF explained in a showcase that this album is a spin off from their original storyline (their first 4 mvs and New World). This mv is about the dreams they have while time travelling. The song is about jumping into an unknown place that connects people. Sukhumvit is used as the name of an unknown utopia, and swimming means jumping into that unknown space. All of the fans that I know love this. You'll be surprised when you do the listening party but ONF also have bright songs. Their first two mvs have a brighter concept and they have bright bsides so it isn't out of left field for us when this song came out. I really hope you do a listening party of all of their albums, I have a feeling you'll LOVE them. If you're not going to listen to all of their albums and only doing specific songs, let us know because there are some songs that you HAVE to hear (although all of their songs are no skips).

Thank you for reacting to ONF, PD!! :DD Since you mentioned wondering if fans were divided on this comeback's concept, I wanted to say that ONF's On vs Off concept also applies to their comebacks! (It's kind of like red velvet's red vs velvet concept) ONF started off with two ON concepts with On/Off and Complete, which have more upbeat/refreshing vibes, then two OFF concepts with WML and Why, which are more darker/intense; so fans weren't thrown off with sukhumvit swimming at all since it's very on-brand for them and highly wished for anyways LOL Even if you don't react to their live stage on camera, I still want to leave a link to my fave stage so far because the camerawork, set design, and outfits were amazing??!?! and sharing good things is caring LOL https://youtu.be/nfas24eld3U (note about the bottle flipping: ONF's fancafe also has an event where they're counting how many bottle flips ONF gets right in all their music promotions and winners get prizes LOL so far they're 3/4 successful)

Thank you for the reaction PD! All the fans that I know or have seen online LOVE this comeback for its less-serious concept (they had two comebacks in a row that were very intense and darker, so it was time for a brighter/refreshing song) and how the members can therefore have more fun both in the MV and on stage. The whole album for this comeback is insanely good, so I really hope you can do a listening party (honestly, none of their b-sides have ever been skippable tracks). Fun fact: a few seconds of this song was actually released earlier in Feb as a teaser at the end of the instrumental video for their extremely popular b-side Moscow Moscow, which had left the fans wondering if they were having a comeback soon (but then RtK happened lol).

P.D. struggling to understand what’s going on in the mv is literally every Fuse right now haha. Although the song is very different from the past comebacks somehow it is still very ONF. There is no mistaking that it is their song and I love that they have such a signature sound/vibe that anyone can recognise. I really hope that you do a deep dive into their discography because they have some truly amazing bsides and I would absolutely love to see your reaction to them!

FINALLY!!!!!! Thank you PD for reacting to ONF's Sukhumvit Swimming!!! I've been longing for PD to react to their new song! Sukhumvit Swimming is actually a spin off from all their story line, so they are totally different concepts. The harmonize chorus is actually a spoiler from Moscow Moscow Instrumental version since 6 months ago! So we fuses are quite hyped for their new song! Thank you for liking MK's visual!!! He really suits the black hair! And he composed almost all of the songs in Spin Off including New World, Sukhumvit Swimming and etc. Please PD I hope for a listening party of this album!

PDs journey watching ONFs MVs: We must love: immediately "play it again" Why: just hits play again in silence Sukhumvit Swimming: Finally processes a review, but then has to watch it not 2 but 3 times to try to understand it. Careful PD, I think you're about to fall into the rabbit hole of actually trying to actually follow the storyline, trust me your brain's gonna hurt 🤣 Btw the two MVs you're missing from the storyline are their debut On/Off and Complete (The song they mixed in with It's Raining on RTK). Other people have given you lots of info on the theories so I'll just add one small thing for this MV: E-tion's scene that looks like the moon is actually a reference to The Little Prince where the prince lives on an asteroid. Asteroids are a running theme with meteor showers appearing in multiple videos, they also have a B-side on their previous album called Asteroid. So glad you loved it! I was oddly nervous waiting for your reaction since its so different from their recent comebacks. I hope you can do a listening party for this album and maybe even the past albums in the future 🤞 Their whole discography is just so good!

I remember when I started watching pd's videos, and they specifically said that they don't read up on any bts universe theories because it affects their perception of things, will this be a changing point for pd to jump on mv theories trains? lol (btw no shade I just genuinely find it funny)
