When you said that music producers aren't called "PD" in Korea it immediately made me curious as to why JYP is called "PD" by all of his artists. I certainly think of him more as a music producer, but does that mean the artists see him as their video producer? I doubt I'll get a response, but I'm just curious.

Nah you're right, they call him PD because he produces most of the title tracks for his artist.

I was also wondering about this because I remember Heize referring to Suga as Min PD-nim when she won an award for the track he produced for her.

PD means producer. If you’re in a music ONLY setting they call music producers PD because there’s no confusion
