Before I start watching it, I would like to thank you PD for this journey. lol I never knew I would be rewatching the show again but nevertheless, your commentary and reactions were very fun and entertaining. also i've been waiting for your reaction to oneus's come back home for so long- it's seriously one of my favorite releases of 2020- i definitely recommend checking out the music video that was released too!! the song hits SO hard and seoho's vocals OH MY GOD i definitely agree that oneus just has this quality to them that makes all their songs SO impactful!! specifically from their performance this round i personally liked the song much more than the dancing part (though that was still amazing)- idk just how they fake the last chorus is so good haha

Anyways, I can not wait to see how frustrated PD gets during the winner announcement 😂 I almost threw my laptop at the wall Edit: I've watched an hour and can't watch the full thing as it's 3 in the morning and I need to sleep but I agree with your statements thus far, The Boyz performanxe was a bit lacklustre compared to their previous performances, although the song was good and Verivery's song was actually my favourite which surprised me as I'm not really a fan of their stuff. Oneus blew me away, I love them, but I think their Lit performance was my favourite although this was a close second

I am so thankful to rtk for letting me know Oneus (but also hated how rtk made Oneus struggle that much lol). I can see their significant growth throughout the whole show. And also agree with PD that they are a group that do better on performing their own music than covering others' bc their songs not only stand out but also fit them so well. (COME BACK HOME and LIT are just soooooo good) Finally thanks PD for reacting to rtk, always love your insightful opinions and cute facial expressions :P

ONF is First in my heart! The Boyz absolutely deserved the win, but I wish there could have been more winners. After watching Oneus' Come Back Home performance this time I noticed that during the first rap section that Ravn was acting as Leedo's shadow and vice versa. I didn't notice this the first time and I haven't watched it again till now. You could feel how much Hui gave the Basquiat performance and it just hurts my heart that Pentagon never placed first. I think the best performance on the show was The Boyz's Revel stage and they didn't surpass it with anything else after that. It was the initial shock and the continuation of the plot from their Danger performance. Their acting was really great and the arrangement made the song more emotional for me. My overall favorite performance of the show was ONF's version of It's Raining. I just got so much enjoyment out of it and the arrangement was a masterpiece. I love New World so much! It's probably my favorite song by them now. RtK really made me like ONF. I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but does New World sound like saying goodbye to a good friend and not knowing if you'll ever meet again? It gave me that feeling and it really hit my heart. I think it was the perfect performance to end on because of that feeling it gives off.

Finally finished it. I'm biased but I think best overall and best performance was onf. i don't get tired of watching their stages. By the way, they're having their comeback this monday :D

Honestly, I decided to watch RTK because of ONF & ONEUS. ONF was the first group I followed from before debut since I got into kpop, and ONEUS I follow since debut; they both hold special places in my heart. I ended up stanning Golden Child and THE BOYZ after the show, which were groups I only knew the name of (didn't heard of TOO, already liked PENTAGON & knew of VERIVERY's existance). Let's just say that the real winner here were all the groups because I bet I'm not the only one that decided to stan more than one after the show. Apparently, Kingdom won't happen till next year, or till the whole corona situation gets better. All I'm hoping for it's that it doesn't get cancelled. Thank you, PD! I also became a patreon thanks to the show lol. It's a win-win situation for everyone XD

First, my opinions for the rankings...for the performances this episode I would rank probably almost the same as you: Pentagon > The Boyz > ONF > Oneus > Veryvery. For the show overall I would say ONF > The Boyz > Pentagon > Oneus > Veryvery. I just wished that both ONF and the Boyz could go to Kingdom since there was a rule that made possible 2 teams to go...but in the end the rule was busted anyway since live voting didn't evaluate performances...it evaluated the size of the fandoms that could vote for their groups. And I think not even Mnet expected such dominance from The Boyz in the rankings...even I thought the rankings would fluctuate much more so the points ranking would be unpredictable and make the opportunity for 2 groups to win and not just one. Now for my opinions on the show overall...I entered the Road to Kingdom experience expecting to root for Pentagon and The Boyz, to get to know them better and that the first place battle would be between them. But in the end I grew much more attached to ONF and Golcha throughout the show...so for that, even though I hated some aspects of this show and cried my eyes out when Golcha was eliminated, I'm grateful...cause it made check them out and see a side of them that I would not know if it wasn't for the show probably. Now for the bad part....to have eliminations made no sense for the theme of the show..."to bring to the groups that are always on the background to the foreground"...and what exactly did eliminations accomplished? Just unwanted drama and crying and stress for the groups and nobody wanted to see that . Queendom had a very loose elimination system and that's why it worked because if I'm watching to see a specific group and they get eliminated I'm not freaking watching it anymore. Also the voting system proved in the end to be kind of busted too...I thought it would be more fair since each member could vote individually but I don't know...in the beginning it being 100% of the score didn't help. And I think Mnet got greedy after Queendom and thought that Road to Kingdom/Kingdom would be their Produce 101 season 2 moment just because now it's with male idols it would be more successful...now they can't even find enough contestants to participate on Kingdom and won't be airing it this year...I just hope Mnet honors just not The Boyz...but every group's hard work on this show and make Kingdom happen in some way. Lastly, even if I didn't click with every group on the show my wish is for all of them to gain any kind of boost in recognition and be successful because they all deserve it. And I hope all fans also remember Sunwoo's final remarks: these rankings don't define the worth of any of these groups....they are all great in their own ways so don't judge their talent just by it.

I also was really sad that ONF and The Boyz couldn’t both go to Kingdom but you can’t disagree that The Boyz dominated since day 1...so I wasn’t surprised who won. I was a fan of all the groups coming into this show so it was fun watching them grow and interact with each other. AND it has been fun to see ALREADY the impact this show had for the groups who already had comebacks with numbers and views cuz you can see how much exposure this show brought all the groups....So I’m just happy for all the groups and so proud for them all

I forgot that I watched this live, so when I saw the subs I was surprised for a sec. My comprehension's decent, but it's still cool to get all the details of what they're saying. 😅 "None of that made sense...but it was cool" - PD, you have just summed up Kpop in one sentence. 끝 I'm far too biased to do the rankings the way you asked, so I'll just say that while Oneus's performance was my FAVORITE of the finale, I thought Pentagon's was the BEST & deserved to get them a spot on Kingdom. Speaking of, have you heard, PD, that Kingdom won't be happening this year? Apparently Mnet's having trouble casting because they're trying to get groups they already have a connection w/, if you believe the "industry insiders", although they're spinning it as "we want live audiences & upgraded performances so we're holding off." 😶 No matter what's going on bts, the result is that Kingdom's on hold for the foreseeable future. Can't wait for Good Girl!!

For performance and song this was my ranking: 1. Oneus 2. Tbz 3. Pentagon 4. Onf 5. Verivery Granted I'm heavily biased towards Oneus so I'm not being objective here :'D In case you are interested in knowing this is the ranking of the Youtube views for the final performance: 1. The boyz 2. Oneus 3. Pentagon 4. Onf 5. Verivery tbz has over 1.6 million views and Oneus over 1.1 million views, Pentagon isbnearly 600k, ONF nearly has 500k and Verivery is almost 300k. You always ask for our ranking and perspective and this time it was especially hard to rank every single performance so I decided to add some "official numbers"

I hope you're ready for ONF's comeback on August 10th PD!! I can't wait to see what they bring us this time around since it's been nearly 10 months since 'Why'. My ranking pretty much aligns with yours for this round so I don't have much to add to that but man ONF's New World was just phenomenal especially on first listen. There is just something about them that always gets me and I love it. Nobody's doing it like them. But it was a well deserved win for the Boyz for sure!

I agree with the Boyz winning but i hoped for a 2nd ticket to kingdom for ONF. I think that for the finale pentagon had the best stage. For me ONF gave 4 different versions of them in this show and they were so unique. Oneus has that elegant, graceful and delicate vibe that is missing in boy groups right now unfortunately people overlook them because most fans prefer hard hitting choreos. I hope the boys change things up in KINGDOM because all the rumored contestants are really good at dark concepts and choreos

I'm so happy this is finally up! Thanks for reacting!!! Pentagon really slapped everyone in the face in this finale I think! Hui is such an amazing producer and they poured their hearts and souls out on that stage! The choreography and the props were so well made and chosen and it felt like a giant spectacle! I think the reason they didn't win this "round" is probably because their fanbase in korea isn't that big and they couldn't gather as many new fans as ONF (which is so cool for them btw!). I personally like Basquiat as a song the best too, because that guitar solo is just mind blowing and Hui's high notes are killer! The Boyz ranking first was deserved and forseeable (I would have placed them there too) :) They continuously put on great performances and had fantastic ideas for the stages as well as the capability to actually do it, the only thing missing for me in every single one of their performances were the vocals... So I think they are a great group when you see them perform, but it's a little bit lacking when you don't have the visuals with the music. But they can work on that in the future and then they might be unstoppable. :) It would have been so cool if 2 groups had won and for me it should have been The Boyz and Pentagon!

Fun fact: the cube that Wyatt put down on the stage floor in the performance was supposed to be lit up with LED light, but our big boy put it too hard so it broke lol. I’m so glad you love ONF this much since I’ve seen them since the beginning (WM stan myself) and I know how talented they are, which sadly not many people or reactors know about them. Also, if you're interested, Mnet posted some behind-the-scene videos and extended version of the VCR before each of their performance during the program (except for the final) on their youtube channel and they were pretty fun. PS. You probably already know that ONF is making their comeback on August 10 and I really really hope you do a listening party for them :). They dropped a highlight medley last night and it's really good. What interesting is they have New World (Spin Off ver.) in this album, and from what we heard in the highlight, it has the same melody as the VCR before New World performance in the show (https://twitter.com/hyo2_J/status/1291028825644519425?s=20). Just to preface: because The Boyz were so obviously going to win just from the second or third round, so it kind of took out the emotional factor for me, but that doesn't mean I don't think they deserve it! So overall, 1)ONF, 2)The Boyz, 3)Pentagon, 4)ONEUS, 5)VERIVERY, I did become more attached to ONF throughout the series, and their vocals are amazing, plus the song arrangements, stage-wise they're sometimes not as strong as other teams, but overall the number one; The Boyz put on great performances every time, but vocal-wise not as strong; honestly Pentagon is so good I never realized? I think I stigmatized them in my head as a weird group, but they're just unique in their own style and I've come to appreciate them more for it! Final stage-wise, my ranking is the same as PD's, not considering the songs

I actually have 2 different rankings. One for the performance and one for the song. Performance wise my ranking is 1. The Boyz 2. Oneus 3. Pentagon 4. Verivery 5. ONF Song wise my ranking is 1. Oneus 2. Pentagon 3. The Boyz 4. Verivery 5. ONF I know lots of people think ONF should have won and as much as I can recognise their growth and talent and the fact that New World is a good song, I personally just do not enjoy their stage and the song doesn't quite grasp me enough. The chorus was catchy but that was about it for me. Also as much as I absolutely loved Checkmates stage (the amount of thought and detail that went into it is beyond amazing and they pulled it off brilliantly) Come Back Home is by far the superior song. I MEAN THAT BRIDGE THO?!!! Best bridge of 2020 and the song overall is a 10/10 and Basquiat was amazing too. I wasn't too fond at first but wow I fell in love with Hui and Wooseoks parts and now I love the whole damn thing. I liked Beautiful-X. I thought the concept and the stage were really fun and as far as the song goes I enjoy listening to it. I really really like bright songs and concepts so I was glad VeriVery went that route but the song hasn't quite reached my playlist yet. I really enjoyed watching this with you and I'm looking forward to Treasure Box :)

Man I wish ONF would've been able to get to Kingdom too. They were the winners of this IMHO. At the moment the sales were shown it was clear that The Boys are gonna win the whole thing. But there was still the hope for the best performance of the night. Overall what I disliked about RTK was the everpresent Points. I get that it is important, but in comparison on Queendom the performance of the night was the focus and only the finale was about the score beforehand. And of course the missing live audience and them voting surely made a big difference too. I hope the best for Kingdom. There were reports that they won't start until 2021 so this is still open. Thanks for watching this PD

I just want to say that Basquiat is special. Hui is incredibly talented as we know, but there is something about that song and that performance that really feels different to me. And Pentagon basically gave a big eff you to the show by saying that they will make their own crowns and they don’t need Mnets. When the finale first aired, I found myself listening to Come Back Home, Basquiat and New World often. The only one that continually makes it into my newer playlists is Basquiat. Art inspired by art.

A bit late but Finale Stage wise it would be: 1. Pentagon 2. ONF 3. The Boys 4. Verivery 5. ONEUS Overall RtK: 1. ONF 2. The Boys 3. Pentagon 4. ONEUS 5. Verivery I personally was aiming for ONF at Kingdom. And I was hoping for a second group on Kingdom of them. So I was rooting for ONF and either Pentagon or The Boys. Atleast we got The Boys and im still very excited for Kingdom. And this time the same happened with ONF what happened with Oh My Girl to me. After Queendom i began to stan them and they got one of my favorite girlgroups. Now after RtK i wanna Checkout ONF as well and maybe they will grow high on me :D Thx for your reaction to rtk PD! Ahh my Boys PENTAGON I honestly think they killed this final stage and I don't wanna hear no discussion about that! But I do understand people ranking them 2 or 3 in the overall of RTK. PENTAGON came in RTK with a different mindset and a bit broken from all what happened to them: A member kicked out of the group, another one in hiatus, plus no win. Other groups looked so cute and fresh in front of them. And despite everything they kinda made their game too. They showed that they can put out amazing stage and live performance if they want and literally imposed their brand on acting and how to play with the camera. They also learnt lot from other groups. I can't wait for PENTAGON next comeback !!

Also I don't have any ranking because it's was honestly very difficult for me to watch RTK. Here I did not watch it again lol. I watch all performances from the previous episode but this one I could not because watching PENTAGON's performance is already enough because it's too much for me. This show was hard man. Honestly I discovered so wonderful group such as ONEUS and ONF and for me but it this show was so cruel. I Want to add that during final PENTAGON was rumored to mock on a group and this was all over NAVER and ALLKPOP just right before the final. So I hated this show because fandom was literally eating each other for the win. So much hate was spread because of this show I've never saw this before and PENTAGON got a lot of hate. So rtk was not such a good experience for me although I was happy to discover other groups. I really hope that rtk will still make his effect from in their recognition because all those groups deserves so much! Congratulations for all of them for real! I can't imagine how this show was hard for them. They were so in competition they did get time to know each other. And I'm so happy Kingdom won't air I can't imagine the mess Kingdom would have created. can we imagine that agency of SKZ, SEVENTEEN, NU'EST etc, stepped back from the line up of Kingdom because of treatment of groups in RTK? it means a lot.

Honestly rankingthe finale performances is so hard for me, this is the one episode where I truly think all the stages and songs were really good and they all offered something different. I think song wise though my rankings would be: 1st Oneus; 2nd The Boyz; 3rd ONF; 4th Pentagon; 5th Verivery. I really loved all the songs, but Come Back Home and Checkmate really hit hard for me. I think stage wise though I would rank them differently: 1st The Boyz; 2nd Pentagon; 3rd Oneus; 4th ONF; 5th Verivery. I really do think that although it would have been awesome to have 2 groups join Kingdom, and I was really rooting for ONF to be the second group, I really think that The Boyz deserved it and I'm so excited to see where they go performance wise. After watching RTK and seeing their insance performances every round I've truly become a Deobi and I'm so proud!

For me, the ranking goes 1: Pentagon 2: The Boyz 3: ONF 4: Oneus 5: Verivery. Overall, it makes perfect sense for The Boyz to win and go to Kingdom, but I really wish that ONF or Pentagon also could have gone. Those three groups were the best for me all the way through.
