yes!!! the mixing, even in the original version, was strange. I'm not sure what the producers were going for at all, which is unfortunate because the members have amazing voices. I wish they would've done Electric Hearts (one of the b-sides on the new record) instead which would've been a nice summer song for them to promote especially in English and the mixing suits their voices.

The bass isn't as intense on the original/not on YouTube but the mixing is still a bit off for sure.

Ten and his stupid tiddie tattoo... What was he thinking? He was already my Bias (together with Kun) but when I first saw that I knew he was literally just trying to kill us now...

I noticed the mixing thing too! The original Chinese version in their ‘Awaken the World’ album is leveled much, much better. It’s still loud and intense of course but you can definitely hear the members a lot better in that one.

Yes, the mixing is weird and off, but I am happy to see YangYang getting more spotlight. He really is killing me this entire album comeback.

Shanz

The mixing was weird like you couldn't hear the vocal especially in the 1st 30 to 45 sec

Sam Saad

The mixing is weird in this version, if you listen to the Chinese version it's perfectly fine.

Besides everything you have said, I do not really understand the reason why they are aiming for US market or what is any other reason for making english versions... I mean Love Talk was one song, maybe they wanted to make it stand out from other songs, because it is a really nice song and with the music video it feels like 90's US boyband song, so maybe that's why they made a decision to make it in english and as I said they wanted to make it stand out from other songs and since they are NCT unit for Chinese market, it would be silly to make for example Korean version... (as they did with Turn Back Time...). But now it is second time, the song is not that much good and even the music video is more like performance video, so for me it seems Bad Alive was favorite song from that album and that's why they used it to go into US market once more. BUT WHY? They should do Chinese stuff and what more SM has SuperM made exclusively for US.
