Hey guys, as I'm about to wrap up Road to Kingdom I'm eyeing our next variety/reality shows. I'm definitely gonna do TREASURE BOX but I've had A LOT of requests for GOOD GIRL but I've only gotten requests for their performances.

So please use the poll to vote and leave a comment to voice your opinions and reasonings on why you voted a certain way. Is GOOD GIRL worth watching the entire show or should I just only go through the performances?

For me personally I think the performances only, but that's my opinion!!

I choose the whole show. You can see their growing chemistry as each episodes passes. Trust me, you'll fall in love with the cast

The performances are really good, but to see the ten women who partly even knew each other fuse together to a group despite their seamingly very different personalities is really worth it. Especially Sleeq an Yeeun seam to really grow and show new sides through the show.

Perceptive Thoughts

I voted for the entire show just because when I watched it, I actually found myself getting to know a lot of the artists I didn't know. I like the concept of the show and you get to see how the girls dynamic changes from when they all first met to the kinds of songs they come up with throughout the show. Especially artists you wouldn't necessarily think would ever collaborate. I watched the show for CLCs Yeeun, but I loved everyone by the end of it and its pretty funny.

If you want to watch the show with English subs, reddit user u/4nialove subed all episodes by himself. Link to episode 1: https://www.reddit.com/r/koreanvariety/comments/gnnvn0/good_girl_e01_200514/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

You miss out on A LOT of context if you only react to the performances. It honestly takes away a good Part of how awesome this whole Show and the Girls are!

As someone who isn't generally into female performers & hip hop & went in with low expectations, I loved every minute of the show. The way their relationships develop and they team up to defy expectations is endearing and really makes you root for them. The performances are great, but the show as a whole is even better.

i feel like the whole show would be better because otherwise the format is going to be REALLY confusing

I would recommend watching ALL of Good Girl. as you get to actually know the girls and who they are more... gives you more opinions on their performances. Its as good as QUEENDOM to me. as it let me get to know artists like Youngji, SLEEQ, YUNHWAY, QueenWasabi, JAIME, AILEE, as I knew little to non about them before... also the friendships you see being born with the GG is so shocking, esp since you could never imagine some of them even being close... can't wait to see PD reaction week after week to Youngji and Wasabi 😂

Skipz12

You could watch the performances but I don’t think they mean as much without the context of the whole show

Wiktor

I agree. The whole GG vs MNET will get confusing. also, watching one episode with 4-5 performance will be better then posting those 4-5 separate performances.

Annabelle

I recommend the entire episode. The chemistry between the ladies is really good and you get to see how it came to be. They were so shy and uncomfortable in the beginning to being really close by the end. They are funny as hell too.

I was gonna choose only the performances but then changed my mind... If I remember correctly from your queendom reactions you did enjoy watching the artists socializing and getting comfortable with each other....also it's a great way to get to know the participants since I'm sure there are a few your not very familiar with....but this being an mnet show be prepared for long drawn out filler segments and occasional evil editing

I recommend the whole show. Without it you lose context and you get to see their development as far as chemistry and trying different music they may not have priror.

Like a few people have mentioned, the context and the interactions are what made the show for me

Justin

I'm also going to recommend watching the entire show. I thought it was fantastic getting to know quite a few artists I wasn't familiar with and watching all these awesome women become friends. Totally worth it.

I'd strongly recommend the whole show (8 eps), the switch in format from competing against one another to competing as a team really improved the overall vibe, and made things much more enjoyable compared to typical competition shows. Plus as others have mentioned, watching these women, most of whom didn't know each other beforehand, meet, bond, and put out some award-show level performances, is all the more fun with full context. Not to mention the "guests". I only started watching it because it aired right after RTK initially, but surprisingly enjoyed it a hell of a lot more in the end.

At first I was gonna vote just for the performances, but then I realised there's quite a lot of context, especially in the earlier episodes regarding Sleeq that is worth watching. The later episodes though, I stopped watching.

I've recently started watching this show and I'm hooked. I'm a longtime CLC and new Kard fan, so I watched Yeeun and Jiwoo's performance of Witch (with Jamie, Cheetah, and Hyoyeon) and I was blown away. The interactions between the members is great, and it's really interesting to see how people with extremely different backgrounds/styles/personalities work together.

I am sooo happy to here that you are still going to react to treasure box!!!! :) As for Good girl I haven't watched anything from it yet, but I was thinking about watching the show and I think it would would be really fun to watch it with you.

Ebony Coco

I think you should react to the full show because certain performances are best understood with the added context that comes with watching the show. This show is very much about team work as much as it is about crazy talented individuals showcasing their skills, and I think watching the entire show will allow you t better understand the relationship dynamics between the Good Girl team and their individual/group performance choices.
