All produced by lay because sm wouldn’t fund it 1.4 million himself plus wrote the story and made the choreography and music

This is the first part of something I know he’s supposed to release more music I don’t know if it’s gonna be connected mv wise or just music wise but more is coming he said

The Music Video made me fall in LOVE with the song because of how powerful it is. When i first listened I was like "this is okay" but watching it with the video really just brought it a whole new meaning of power and it gets me hype haha Im definitely going to be watching out for the studio that produced this - i had no idea they also did some of my other favorite MVs.

Jade and LIT are actually two POVS of the song being sung at the beginning of LIT; a song about a man fighting an army and saying goodbye to his lover before he dies. Jade is about the woman and LIT is the man's POV...kinda, hehe- it's a bit abstract. The pyramid in this MV is in Namanana too and the water, as it is pushed up by the pyramid during the Namanana music video, looks very similar to a lotus. And the dragon (the pose when it approached Lay at the end of LIT) is very similar in form and color to the metal/transforming/orb-thingy from Namanana. The woman with the long nails and veil is also in Namanana as well. The eye has also been a symbol in both MVs. Many fans have compared the imagery between the two videos, but there is no definite description of the symbolism- except for the lotus. Anti's used the title 'lotus' as a way to slander Lay as a supposed two-faced idol (being different inside than what is shown outside- like, pure looking but having a rotten personality). Lay is basically taking the insulting title, using it for his own music and declaring he doesn't care what the anti's think- "he's the king". Also Lay has stated in his book, and in a few other interviews, that he has what he calls a 'dragon inside of him', so he may be using the dragon in his MVs to represent himself? The obvious similarities and symbolism are interesting, but there are no full answers yet. This album was only half of his 4th album, so there is more to come and possibly more answers to the symbolism!
