Hey folks! I'm tickling with a new idea called "Cinema Club". Imagine it's like our Drama Club but for movies. And the thing about this is that it would NOT be limited to just K-Movies, we would watch ANY movies whether I've never seen it before or I haven't.

NOW I NEED TO PREFACE, this would be PURELY for entertainment purposes so I will be talking over most of the movie. This is not meant to be a serious watching experience and it's meant to be for comedic purposes. So that means we'll both watch good movies...and also terrible movies.

The question I have for you is: audio only or video as well? Would you prefer just my audio commentary in the background or do you also want video as well?

Also, I will NOT be including a video of the movie so it would just be my face cam. I can either provide a link to the movie free online or you can netflix or etc. but I won't be showing the actual movie cus that would be redistribution of a movie and frankly I'm not trying to get my butt sued lmao. So all you would have to do is just start my audio and the movie at the same time.

But the question remains, audio commentary only or also facecam?

I'm going to see how difficult it is to produce these on a regular basis and then tier it accordingly. I'll make the first few available to ALL patrons just because it will be a testing phase.

I think with video is good because if you don’t want the audio you can just turn off the screen or put that window in the background. Also I love this idea since I’m a lonely loser and need someone to watch movies with ;)

wait, i have a question? how come redistribution for a movie is bad and u can get sued but you can do it for dramas thru a paid streaming site like netflix or viki?

dramas are bad too :D but it's just less likely that you'll go to court over a k-drama, they'll just take you down or stop you is all. but i want to make cinema club available for all movies of various languages and americans will SUE. YOUR. BUTT.

First of all, thank you so much for filming the movie reaction video and I am happy to subscribe to the Creator who watches movies like Storm Akima. Personally, I think the most important part of the movie's reaction is 'Is it your first time seeing a movie?' Because most of viewer allredy see a variety of movies. They are people who have seen movie they want to empathize with the feeling that they see for the first time. So I think they have already seen a lot of movie. I think it would be better to make a movie reaction for the first time look. I always enjoy watching your videos, and as a Neverlander, I am very grateful for (G)i-dle videos.

The first Twilight movie is particularly bad, it's hilarious! The sequels at least have decent cinematography but the first one is like a crash course in what not to do.

And Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (both my and TWICE Nayeon's, apparently, favorite movie) is amazing if you want to watch a good one. Lots of directing stuff and screenplay stuff to discuss with this one

Are you going to watch some animes as well (it could be fun). As bad/funny movies I really like Final Destination or Scary Movie. (As for the good movie, maybe Battle Royale ?)

One reason I like reaction videos is because I don't have many people I can watch things with. Once you learn a reactor's likes, dislikes and quirks, you start to think about how they might like a video. For movies I feel it would be like watching with a friend vs alone. I'd want to hear what you say and even if you threw in fun facts about the production etc would be cool. I also think it's fine to watch stuff you have seen just be careful of spoilers. 😎 So proud of you PD.

This is an amaaaazing idea I'm so pumped for the concept!! Ok so these are the most obvious ones, but Train to Busan and Parasite are really really freaking amazing, and I'd also recommend The Net (Kim Ki Duk) & Burning (Lee Chang Dong). Also Snowpiercer would be an interesting meeting between American and Korean cinema! And basically all of Bong Joon Ho's filmography lmao

I'd like to see your reaction to disney channel musicals: Descendents 1,2,3 Lemonade mouth Zombies Cheetah Girls 1,2,3 High School Musical 1,2,3 Teen Beach movie 1 and 2 I'd also like to see your reaction to A Silent Voice, it's an anime movie.

I would love to see your Reaction to a lot of different Movies. Everything from Method to something like Cruel Intentions or Drive Thru (... So... I just realized all Movies that immediately pop into my heart are pretty dark 😂)
