The moment people start copying something you do it becomes generic; then you just become like everyone else and you no longer stand out. This is just a business lesson as a whole but: always innovate. Never coast on the same thing. Because no one knows who came first, and most people won't KNOW who came first and just think "this is what everyone does" and it falls into genericism. It sort of mirrors what's happened to the K-community. K-Pop reactions used to be unique, then more people started doing it, and then came people like me and UMU who started "specializing" and it was no longer just "reactions" it was BLANKcatchytitle reacts to kpop. That made people like me and UMU stand out but now others have co-opted that as well and now more people are doing "dance teacher reacts" "music producer reacts" etc. Which is also why the name of my series is going to change as well. You want to LEAD the pack, not be a part of it.

But at the same time, you're losing the essence of yourself. Your trademark what you're known for. For a while all youtubers had thumbnails with emojis and then they moved on to new trends. Yes there is the option of changing everything when people start copying or you can do what umu did and stick to your brand. I'm subscribed to umu as well and I've seen all her videos and she has changed things only the bare minimum or has upgraded it a little bit. In my opinion your usual thumbnails are fun and it gives new watchers an idea what you feel about the song/mv as you're very expressive with your face and that's always enjoyable. I Made it a small game of mine to find where you took that thumbnail from in the video 😔. In conclusion it's up to you if you wish to keep to your brand and design or do you wanna redo them all the time but I'd only change things when your views are starting to drop or when you yourself are bored of the format and want something new.

Lighting, even tho a bit darker than your usual, is actually nice because it is a more intamite feel to the reaction. Also, enjoyed your more detailed breakdown since before it was more just random tidbits here and there. One thing though, your thumbnail is nice, but a bit busy? If you enjoy it, then it is still good just seems a bit busy. I hope 2019 is a good year for you PD and for the channel.

Orange/Pink hair = Chorong, Namjoo is one on the in the green dress with the watermelon set, Hayong has the set of the pink locker room like tile background, Eunji has the short hair cut, bomi has long black hair with bangs and Naeun has the crimped pigtail hair style ( or the one in the purple with yellow set)
