Well funny thing is, if you watch the BTS of the MV for Chk Chk Boom, there is actually very little CG. Aside from the wall graphics, the fireworks and Ryan & Hugh's scene, the rest are all actual locations from New York. I guess maybe because of the lighting or editing that they may look a lot of CGs.

I agree regarding their evolution from Rock to Chk Chk Boom! Instead of trying to one-up themselves, they took a strategic side step into c*nty territory !! I also agree regarding the camerawork not complimenting Hyunjin to the fullest extent, because I feel like they always try to capture his kick on “boom” instead of his expression. I haven’t watched it since it came out, but I think I remember really enjoying the camerawork in their performance video!!
