Something I’ll be discussing soon and I’d love to hear your thoughts on the following subjects…

  • What do you think about the announced “NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL K-POP” album from the company “NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL MUSIC”???
  • What are your personal thoughts on the new ZEROBASEONE/AESPA/SEVENTEEN/IVE/TRIPLES/XDINARYHEROES/&TEAM comebacks?
  • This is based on articles that have been cropping up my way: “Is K-Pop On The Decline?” The biggest points being brought up is the “westernization” of K-Pop music, criticisms on live singing (LE SSERA’s Coachella performance is the common thing cited in these articles), “music videos all being the same”, and “too many groups all sounding the same”, some even specific things citing how “bigbang” or “2ne1” would be rolling in their graves. I’d love to hear YOUR guys’ thoughts from actual K-Pop fans! This is a safe space, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on the matter whether it’s in “agreement” or “against” that statement (and that question in and of itself is pretty broad!)
  • What are your thoughts on the recent concluded hit K-Drama “Queen of Tears”? Why did you love it? Do you recommend it? Do you think I’d like it/if so why? (No spoilers please!)

I’ll be sharing my thoughts on these various subjects, this will be a public podcast, and I’ll be sharing some of your thoughts as part of the conversation as well (names won’t be mentioned!

Queen of Tears was a great drama! I watched it because It's Okay to Not Be Okay and Vincenzo are two of my favorite dramas, and the actors who play Moon Gang Tae and Jang Han Seo are starring in it. Also, Bomi, my bias in Apink had a supporting role in the drama. Because of the cast, I was really excited going in and had high expectations, and the show did not disappoint. The plot was interesting, the actors had great chemistry, the emotional moments hit hard but there were also some delightfully funny moments too. I would definitely recommend giving it a watch.
