I’m not well versed in idol relationships/connections with companies, but I don’t understand why they can’t all leave their companies and just continue as Zerobaseone under Wakeone. Like make fans’ dreams a reality. They seem popular enough to do well as ZB1 anyways, so I just don’t get why it’s not possible

I'm not sure if it's still the case nowadays but trainees sign a contract with their agency once you're set to debut and you can't just part ways like that. And besides, I'm pretty sure each of their companies have plan for them once their contract end. Companies send their trainees to survival shows in the main goal of gaining exposure, attracting fans and attention so that they have something to look forward to once they debut under their respective companies. it takes a LOT of paperwork and money. Especially now that zb1 has gotten pretty popular, I wouldn't want to part ways with talented idols if I was in their companies' shoes
