A little marginal note: Working with the new version of Inkscape for quite a while, I have to tell you that I can't recommend this software at this time, version 0.92. A few negative things, like the terrible long time to compute blurred backgrounds, have been corrected (its really fast now) and some new (long expected) gimmicks have been added, but some not well working features, like the node control, have got worse. Looking like rookie mistakes, this takes very much longer to work with, to correct this crazy self multiplying and suddenly changing attributes of the nodes. I hope that the programmers find the time to correct all those errors, before they start to add other new stuff.
