Hello magical friends! We're joined today by The Ace Of Wands, featuring Ryan Fitzpatrick!

Feeling inspired? Ready for new opportunities and growth? A change can do you good!

And you're in luck, when you wield this mysterious Tarot Card.

In the Rider Waite version, the Ace of Wands is a magical hand coming from the clouds, holding a sprouting wand. Almost as if  to offer a new opportunity, or an idea with the potential to grow.

For this card I thought it would be interesting to mix the nature/sprouting element with the clouds, but have it be more toward sunset. The richness of colors I thought would translate well.

Wands symbolize creativity, and the Ace of Wands is the boldest among the cards in the suit. It is not the kind of creativity that you learn from school or as a hobby. So Ryan is big, bold, and boisterous here.  The electricity is popping!

The original card debut had more warm tones too it. I also made his eyes glow, because I wanted to show that the fire was also coming from within. The power and passion inside are overflowing.

For the final card, I cleaned up the clouds, and shifted it more toward the blue tones.

Thank you for joining me for the first Wand card debut, the Ace!

Ryan has always been a big supporter of my art, and owns multiple canvas paintings from various gallery shows.

He just embraced a new opportunity by moving to New York, joined by his fiancé Olivia! Please join me tomorrow (or later today, depending on when you are reading this) for the Two of Wands!

Love,

Brandon

P.S. I also have some new Supernova stuff coming.
