Starting a brand new tradition on my Patreon! Each month I'll be featuring new bonus photos (not just from what I'm painting currently) from past sessions that fit the month's theme. That way you know what you are in for! :)

Because we're in the middle of a very political time, Heroes and Villains seemed an appropriate start. Plus it's almost Halloween, and I bet quite a few of you wanted to be super heroes growing up!

I'll be pulling from over a thousand body paintings to find new gems for you to experience!

Tonight I'm sharing new photographs from my session with Jessie Thomas Foster. A fan favorite and impossibly cool actor. He lives in Florida (formerly in Phoenix) but we still manage to work together from time to time.

Did you know he was in Bloom? Gods and Monsters? He was! <3

The header photo is brand new, and stopped me in my tracks when I saw it. It was enough to convince me to build theme months, so kudos to Jessie for being so captivating. The next photo is something you've seen before, but it's a really solid one. The next photo is a new, unedited studio shot:

I gave him a slight cartoon outline on his features to make him feel like the comic book.

The cards were a must of course!

Did he use all aces? I'm not sure why we chose that....

Oh yeah, he is holding the Ace Card in the photos! We were on the mark there.  <3 Phew!

Jesse has always been super easy to work with, and down to try just about anything creative or compelling. Ok I wasn't planning on showing you his other photos, but I almost he forgot HE WAS IN THE DEBUT OF BLOOM.

I'm just spoiling you all today! <3

Ok enough gushing about how wonderful he was in Bloom. Back to super hero body paint. Let's start with a little bit of paint...

And then a whole lot!

So much fun! <3 For awhile I avoided painting super heroes and villains because I felt like all body painters were doing it, and I wanted to be different. But you know what? It's honestly pretty neat escapism for both myself and the model.

Look how he cool he looks! Was I attracted to Gambit in the cartoon growing up? You bet I was! It was that voice, you know?

Maybe I should paint more characters?

Let me know your feedback below! Do you like themes? What should November be about?

Huge thank you to Jesse for being amazing all around. And thank you, as always dear patrons, for your support. It means everything to me right now.

Love and paintbrushes,

Brandon McGill
