Great reaction guys! I absolutely agree with your assessment, but it was the middle third for me that wasn't great. The episode's idea is really cool, but it probably needs an entire movie or at least a 2-parter episode to work. I liked the first third (the setup) and the last third (the emotional confrontation and end fight), but the character development needed in the middle third was missing. It took me out a bit when they started talking about getting Peter to fight his father when he (Peter) was literally the world-ending threat they were fighting five minutes ago

Loved the premise so much and the first 2/3 - including the Avengers banter. I think this could’ve been at least two episodes and then maybe they could’ve done a more fleshed out exploration of the heroes, relationship building with Peter to get him to be the ultimate weapon against Ego, and a much stronger third act that is not a rehash of Guardians 2.
