Hey Greg and John! If you guys want to keep us entertained during the dark times until November: The Sarah Jane Adventures (30-min episodes): * Series 3 - episodes 3.5 and 3.6 - The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith - Features David Tennant as the 10th Doctor. * Series 4 - Episodes 4.5 and 4.6 - Death of the Doctor - Features Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor Class (45-min episodes): * Series 1 (and only) - Episode 1 - For Tonight We Might Die - Features Peter Capaldi as the 12th Doctor. The movie about the creation of Doctor Who, An Adventure In Space And Time, featuring David Bradley as William Hartnell as the 1st Doctor, is also SOOOOOO great! Please give us something during that time! Doctor who got me to you guys and i'm sad it's ending for now...

Im confused. did they react to Legend of the Sea Devils and The Power of the Doctor?

Lisa McLisa

I second other requests to try and do one or other of the spin-offs. They’re good, honestly! Torchwood, Class (god that was good and we should have got more than one season!) Sarah Jane adventures and/or An adventure in space and time. Pretty please 🙏 🥺

Lisa McLisa

No, they haven’t done those yet - they’re just saying they’re getting very close to being current with Doctor Who and having to wait for the new episodes to air.

Derek Willerton

I actually really enjoyed the character of Sarah. She's the first side character in a LONG time who actually felt like a genuine real person. And given that she's an actual comedian, her comedic timing was excellent.

Nicola O'Neill

I do agree that Sarah was a hard character to like but for a lot of the UK audience the casting will have helped a lot as Aisling Bea is a very popular comedian. And if you might be considering other dr who related series then I would definitely vote for Torchwood. It has a more adult content but it keeps the heart and humour that you would expect from the world. I think it's the one you would get the most out of.

Logan

It would be hilarious if they watched Torchwood. It really is a fun series to watch.

“Eve of the Daleks” facts 🔷 This episode has the longest cold opening in the franchise, running just over 00:09:10. The previous episode to hold this title was The Return of Doctor Mysterio. 🔷 Unlike The End of Time: Part Two and Resolution, the endboard for this episode had the letters MMXXII, which is the correct year for the broadcasting date which was 2022. This also happened with Revolution of the Daleks which had the letters MMXXI, which is also the correct year for the broadcasting date of 2021. 🔷 When Jodie Whittaker first read the script for this episode and saw that the Doctor gets exterminated in the opening minutes, she genuinely believed that she had been written out of the show earlier than she thought she was going to be. 🔷 At one point, one of the Daleks says, "I am not Nick", an in-joke to them being voiced by Nicholas Briggs. Continuity facts 🔷 The Doctor resets the TARDIS to remove the corruption caused by the Great Disruption, specifically citing that the extra doors will be gone. (TV: The Halloween Apocalypse) 🔷 The Doctor is briefly able to use her sonic screwdriver to interfere with the Dalek's gunstick, as she was previously able to do with the Reconnaissance Dalek's weaponry when it wasn't "fully in sync yet". (TV: Resolution) 🔷 Before she is first killed by the Daleks, the Doctor fearfully mutters, "Not like this." She had only recently been warned by the embodiment of Time that her "time [was] heading to its end". (TV: The Vanquishers) 🔷 The Doctor states her sonic screwdriver would take a long time to resonate concrete. (TV: The Doctor Dances) 🔷 The Daleks accuse the Doctor of destroying the Dalek War Fleet during the Flux, which she counters was a Sontaran plan that she had only hijacked. (TV: The Vanquishers) A Dalek assasasin squad had previously pursued the First Doctor with the intent of executing him for revenge. (TV: The Chase) 🔷 The Doctor mentions not having seen "this much gunpowder since 1605", alluding to when she and Yaz saw Guy Fawkes' attempted destruction of parliament. (PROSE: Black Powder) 🔷 The destruction of ELF Storage is witnessed by Karl Wright (the guy that was in charge of the crane and being hunted by Tim Shaw). (TV: The Woman Who Fell to Earth) Also warning there’s a coming soon before the credits in the next episode which will give away stuff for the power of the Doctor so as soon as that starts click off it.

The Lazy Gamer

It kinda sucks they got spoiled of stuff in the near future, but as much as they are online, it's very difficult to avoid. Especially with how much advertisement the 60th Specials is getting.

The Originals is a good show if you wanna replace Doctor Who with it. Good storytelling and compelling character arcs.
