I honestly love the FD movies so much! (I saw the first 3 in theaters but haven't watched any of the others)...... But they definitely reignite that fear that's buried deep that I always try to ignore which is that we will always have a foot in deaths doorway no matter what we do and it's scary that it just takes a push for us to fully walk through the doorway and that honestly terrifies me and it always has and it always will so these movies remind me that life is short and death comes for us all (yup I'm a bright ray of sunshine aren't I lol) One of my favourite quotes in life (I have no idea who said it or where I even read it but it's stuck with me and is always floating around in my mind): Life and Death are walking together and Life turns to look at Death and says "why does everyone love me, but hate and fear you?" And death turned to life and said "because you are a beautiful lie and I am an ugly truth" I love that quote so much it's very fitting lol But these movies are definitely a lot of fun the second one is actually my favourite of them so I can't wait until you watch it lol But I hope this comment wasn't a downer I actually didn't mean it to be I was just commenting on the topic subject lol Devon Sawa is great but I think I enjoyed him much more in "Idle Hands" (fave movie to watch on Halloween) than any other role I've seen him in and I completely forgot he was even in this movie 🤣🤣

Yes it's cheesy but it's so good! You have to put it with other movies from 2000 to really see how it stands out as a highlight for the time. The next one is really good and the franchise gets bonkers in the best kind of way!

Would love to see more FD reactions - it’s like they learn from this first one and the next couple are really confident that people will like them so they concentrate on making the set ups more enjoyable and poetic

This movie was basically groundbreaking. We saw #2 in theaters with that Dolby Surround Sound and it still haunts me

Oh this I saw this at friends house around the release. Creepy tho in the dark! It’s the mains from this era too! They all starred in their own 90s/y2k gigs. Gotta love the stripes on all the guys’ shirts! 1998/99 is so here. Funny Taylor swifts hair sort of looks like hers. Fun memories!
