THE FLUX comes to a cacophonous close as the many disparate plotlines converge & collide bringing with them some thrills, as well as a bit of chaos.  Maybe not the best of the Flux episodes overall, but a solid end to what may well be the best arc of the Jodie Whittaker era!!  Plus we got facts galore!!!

While I think this series of the last three has had the best acting across the board, and not just from the supporting characters. The rapid fire pacing as we seamlessly move from one moment to another, honestly left me in metaphorical mental, emotional and physical traction. It's also not helpful to feel the scripts structure at work while you are watching. Which for me, often takes me out of the moment, as again the saturated use of 'noticeable' exposition seems to be breathtakingly relentless. The visuals are fantastic, molto bene! Although some CGI has had a jarring subject and background separation, probably stemming from the use of lighting choices at times. I do think that this aspect, in this era, can be marked out as mostly memorable in a possitive fashion. Flux with the history, ruffle 'some' fans. Was this 'bury the answers' approach the plan all along. Now that we can psychically see those are potentially in reach. This is a little more frustrating than just knowing that there is some history we might never get to learn about. Was it instructions from upon high to step back from it. I don't know the answer to that. If, this was the objective, from the very moment that the timeless child arch was conceived. I'm left with the continual cycle in my mind, of, well what was the f-ing point. If hypothetically, there was some meeting that resulted in the suggestion that those questions should go unanswered. Then I wonder what the plan was, if there was in fact one to begin with. Without knowing what those answers might have been, I honestly can't know which I find more irritating. There are undoubtedly inconsistencies, changes and or additions. Lets not kid ourselves of this salient fact. But we can't deny that there is plenty of history of that too. But I just refuse to jive along with the argument that it changes nothing. It's whether we care about it or not is the more relevant argument.
