Yeah, that's a ride for sure. Along similar lines, especially with all you said about high-concept sci-fi: I remember you watching the trailer for Upgrade, but I don't think you reacted - there's a movie I like, like, A LOT. Great, understated humor, fantastic premise and in-world concepts, pretty great direction and production design... if you want another romp and an absolute budget marvel, to say the least, I'd take that movie for a spin.

Awesome reaction! I knew that ending scene for Ma-Ma was coming and I got so excited because I knew you weren't going to expect it to show that splat like that! 🤣 I absolutely love this movie! Karl Urban does such an amazing job and I'm so glad that I went to see this at the box office for opening night because seeing it on the big screen was so incredibly worth it! It's a real shame so many people I know missed out on this awesome ride of a movie simply because of the reviews I mean what's not to like about it? It's just such a visually appealing movie (especially the Slow-Mo scenes so beautiful!!) everything about it had my focus and kept it there from beginning to end I am embarrassed to admit though that I had never seen the Stallone one and didn't even know it existed until you reacted to it and I can confidently say I definitely prefer this one it felt like it had a nice balance of chaos and control with a sprinkling of humour to top it off lol While we are on the topic of Karl Urban (and movies that never got good reviews or sequels because they flopped in some way or another) have you seen "Doom"? I enjoyed it but not many others did it seems so might be worth a watch if you guys haven't seen it and I know I'd love an excuse to watch it again since it's been so long lol 😜🤣❤️

And as far as Karl Urban is concerned, Almost Human was an Almost fantastic franchise - if it wasn't cancelled. Really worth watching season 1, cool premise, some interesting episodes. Short enough to maybe consider giving it a whirl. And if you didn't talk about it yet: Gavin Free from Slow Mo Guys fame did this slo-mo, like (among others) he did the one in Sherlock Holmes 2. Very obvious once you know it, and a perfect fit.
