2023-07-21 13:43:15 I'm not sure if you're already aware but at the time Dan created a huuuge influx of memes, in the form of "Evil Dan" by a YouTuber "DWPoop Shorts". Some of them were even shared by Jojn Bishop (actor/comedian playing Dan), who very much appreciated his new fame. We first learned of them in the "Fugitive of the Jadoon" story were the Jadoon said their contract was to deliver the Doctor (Ruth) to the Division. Then we learn about its creation in "The Timeless Children" via the memory broadcast done by The Master. We also see Division agents guarding the spiky guy at the beginning of Flux and then in Doctor's memories when she's floating through the timestream. Additionally, in the 1st episode of Flux the Doctor says she was tracking Carvanista (Dan's puppy guy) as he was the only surviving Division agent she could find.

I wasn't aware of the Evil Dan memes. So thanks for sharing those. I'd been aware of John Bishop for probably well over 10 years, so new frame wasn't how I saw is inclusion in Who. A wider exposure was how I thought of it.
