I don't want to go into spoiler territory. I kinda like Villa diodatti, but i find Timeless child the most offensive episode of Modern Doctor who...But i can wait a few weeks for a conversation about it!

I won't speak about the what's in the future, but... Just to be clear... 1) I LOVE Jodie's work! I LOVE her in Broadchurch, love her in Black Mirror and loved her on Trust me, and i even believe she does magic with what she was given with the writing! I also love the idea gender-swapping (hope that's right, i'm from Brazil...) timelords... For me, Missy is the greatest incarnation of the Master (including classic), also, i'd love to see a woman as the Doctor Again in the future. For me, the problem, as i believe is clear, is with the writing! I believe Chibnall is single-handedly guilty of taking the show from 10 Million viewers in his first episode to less than 4... Chibnall took a show that was happy, hopeful and inspiring and transformed it into something sad, dark, gloomy... Just depressing! Even the Rejects comment on it from time to time!

I'm also not one of those guys who say all is horrible, but it's the only iteration of Doctor Who that's more bad than good FOR ME! I deeply LOVE Rosa, also The Ghost Monument, and i can really respect some other episodes, like The Power of The Doctor, Tesla and Diodati... But That's about it! But on the other hand, again, FOR ME, there's some episodes that are borderline offensive. And, on the only bit of "spoiler" i'm posting here, in 12x07, at the end, there's a scene about cancer that's the only time i turn the TV off on Modern Doctor Who!

this episode was really cool on first watch! i also LOVE a few that are coming up and those made me genuinely love jodie as the doctor so much.

I really liked this episode when it first aired. As an episode it still holds up really well. For the story arch that follows, it has one or two conflicts that could have been made appreciable with a little more clarity. So that ultimately left me fairly displeased. Although, I was left with the feeling that something else was possibly intended for later on, but had to be temporarily or permanently shelved for external casting reasons. This might not be congruent with the facts, but the impression I was left with when juggling both implied stuff and on screen sequences. Still a stand alone great episode. The only thing that bothered me was how much of a great impression Jo Martin left me with as a new Doctor after such a short amount of screen time, compared to the one and a half series with Jodie. That's more of a personal thing though.

im sorry, even if you like what timeless child did to the series, the episode itself is still so poorly structured and written, it is the one of the worst episodes ive ever seen
