Ooooo. Missed opportunity for a good comeback there with the "Spoilers" comment about Pharoah changing his mind. I mean, come on....the Bible has been out for a long time now.... ;)

This is one of those movies no matter your religious views that I feel everyone should watch at least once in your life because it's just so beautifully done but my favourite thing about this movie though was finding out that if you were one of the animators working on this movie and weren't living up to the expectations that were expected of you then you got sent to the animation "goulag" which was working on Shrek which far succeeded this movie 🤣🤣❤️

Idk if you guys are interested in doing more DreamWorks movie but I think you guys would really like Sinbad Legend of the Seven Seas or Road to El Dorado

Maybe it’s the fact I always had this played when I was in summer camp but this movie can go fuck right off lmao! Saw it so many times as a child in that era

I think there's still a lot for people watching this movie in a purely secular sense. This rendition of the story highlights the brothers' relationship and emotional conflict, which I think is interesting enough by itself to carry the movie (with some added mysticism for those who don't believe). The movie has a good message about learning empathy, examining your own biases against those you see as "other", and understanding that people make mistakes (even big ones) and that they can grow and change into a better person. Also, as the intro states, this story is important to a lot of religious people and I think it's just good practice to try to learn about and understand different religions (no matter who you are or what you personally believe).

I really appreciate you guys reacting to this movie, as someone who also grew up watching it (coming from a Christian home though instead) I loved this movie. It came out when I was in middle school days and I would repeat the CD soundtrack over and over so definitely remember all the epic songs, especially Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey's classic song, beautiful forsure! I like that you guys also explained what you believe personally, I think in regular life it's hard to bring up what you believe when talking with friends in a group setting, so it's nice to have that be okay after seeing a movie like this that would purposely bring up the opportunity. Cause everyone has grown up with a story about how religion has played in their life either, positive or negative, and I think it's really interesting to hear people's stories. So thank you!

I feel like kids who grew up in the church will definitely understand what this movie is about
