What a welcome surprise

Yeah this is one of the best animated movie trilogies for me. Even though it's a "kids movie" there is that constant heart, and really mature themes that are incredibly powerful. Po being a dreamer and wanting to fulfill those dreams is already of course, admirable and relatable. But then later, there are even signs that he's got some self loathing. That he just was miserable living as himself, and he didn't want to be that. That really shocked me when I heard that. I really like that he never changed who he was. He didn't even need to, he stayed that peach. He learned Kung Fu, but he was still using his size, bouncing around like rubber, and his love of food, to his advantage. Tai Lung also had a really good character moment with Shifu during their fight. I like how they built up is terrifying presence, his power and ferocity, but then he got vulnerable with his dad. He made some fairly valid points. 😅 If you've seen Whiplash, the weight of expectations can absolutely wreck you. Different context of course, but yeah he's got some good reasons to be as angry and hurt as he is. Would love to see you guys record the last two of the trilogy. Kung Fu Panda 2 is..... absolutely phenomenal. I'd love to see you guys be shocked that it can get better than this. 🤣 Great reaction, Greg and Coy! See you guys next time!

OMG yes!!! I love this movie so much. Pure awesomeness! It was a blast watching it for like the tenth time with you guys! This movie came out when I was in highschool and it's funny to think of how much influence Jack Black had on my childhood with this movie and School of Rock lol Two of my all time faves forever. Anyways, I'm so glad you guys liked this. Loved your reactions to the fight scenes and of course the almond cookies splits scene 😂 This made my day already 🖤 Skadoosh!

This movie is the sauce! I love how the names of all the characters are straight forward. You got the obvious furious 5 names. Master Shifu (Shifu meaning master). Tai Lung (means Great Dragon). Idk if Po means anything but most characters call him panda anyway

Haven’t watched this since I saw it in theaters at 12 years old and it’s crazy how my brain worked cause I saw this and was like “this is silly” but saw friggin Madagascar (the first one) and I loved it. But now I feel like if I were to watch 20 minutes of Madagascar I’d loose my mind. Idk maybe not! But dreamworks nails it when they want too. Edit - Makes sense I was 9 when Madagascar came out. 🤣😩
