2022-12-29 13:45:52 Amazing episode, I for one have appreciated the slow burn of all of the other episodes that have built up to this. With two more episodes left, if it's going to be anything like this episode, it's going to be one hell of a finale. AND there's a Season 2 coming. It's really awesome to see most of the character arcs crossover with eachother, I was really looking forward to the Arondir & Galadriel meet up considering they're both Elves. The stakes of this episode with the ending really put up in the air 'Who will be in the next episode' or 'What will happen after said event'. Also greatly appreciating your watch alongs, completely agree with everything you both have said thus far. The axe in place of the blood sword is a bit of a head scratcher as to why they didn't use a weighty knife or shortened dagger etc, but with the rest of the episode being top tier, I can't complain.
