Aw so cute in your Santa hat! ... I think the whole episode should have been about Civil War reenacting. I vote that that gets pitched somehow. If this show doesn't do it, another one should.

Great reaction as always! Next episode is one of my favourite as you might notice a cute furry animal :D ;)

Loved your commentary on this one! The title of this episode has always been ironic to me, given that this episode is one of the most polarizing in the Psych community. I know for me, personally, this was one of my least favorite episodes of the show for a long time. But just like “It’s a Wonderful Life,” (which I also never really cared for) as I’ve grown up and rewatched this episode more, I appreciate it for how different the tone is, and it resonates with me in a special way that most other eps of Psych don’t. The Psych creators/family knew what they were doing and this just highlights the *it* factor that the show has.

I didn't care for the dream parts of this episode for a long time but I love them now. I think they really help balance this episode because the rest of it would hang really heavy in another show. I just love what this episode explores/has to offer in the vein of character growth and relationships, the feel good ending, but also just things like what happens if Shawn DOES get caught. I think you should listen to the Psych podcast after you've finished the show, especially the first episode with James Roday Rodriguez. I've fallen behind on it so I can't speak for other episodes, but I remember the one with JRR really talking about how he wound up directing/writing in Psych and it's really interesting! This reaction was especially fun. Can't wait to watch the next one!
