Hi John, I am way late to the party, but have been really, really enjoying watching AOS with you. I stopped watching during the original run, so this was the first time watching this episode and I want to watch it again and again. I actually found Natasha Henstridge's YT live for this episode. The writer, Drew Greenberg, Chloe Bennett, (Daisy) Jeff Ward,(Deke) Clark Gregg, (Coulson) Enver Gjokaj (Sousa) and Joel Stoffer (Enoch) all joined the live stream and talked about the episode Here is the link if you want to watch. I'm gonna have to go back and watch the other live streams from other episodes to see what other cast members join LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtZ5yxqCoI8

R.I.P. Enoch! Joel Stoffer is a fantastic actor as he has always been. Director Elizabeth Henstridge and Writer Drew Greenberg knocked it out of the park. Excellent acting from everyone across the board. I love that this team is quick to accept that they're in a time loop after all the crazy things that they've been through. There's a nice parallel between Kora and Daisy in the final scene. Daisy used her powers on the wine glasses to make music before she destroyed them, while Kora used her powers to just destroy them.

I love love love this episode. I remember the first time I saw this episode and Jemma started to break down, my brain started going to all these horrible places about what could have caused it and there was just this feeling of dread. No spoilers. But onto happier news... Next week has a really cool guest appearance. I wonder if you'll recognise him.

Brilliant but also heartbreaking episode to watch. One thing to take note of in this episode is the idea of variables and constants. The more information you know the more you become a variable that can change the direction of the people around you. Without any knowledge of future events you are more likely to remain a constant and on your destined path. Daisy starts the episode as a constant. As clueless as everyone. But when the "first" reset happens she gains knowledge of the "future" That knowledge allows her to stray from the path and even inadvertently start changing the path of everyone else. Just stepping outside the sleeping pod has a effect even with that action waking up Sousa. When daisy has knowledge she consciously steps out quietly to keep him asleep. By the end everyone is a variable helping solve the problem even enoch. The point i am making is important. Knowledge of Future events makes variables and variables are unpredictable. At the end of the episode we see Nathaniel teaching kora and telling her that she has a little sister which now makes both Nathaniel and Kora unpredictable variables messing up the timeline. We get Fitz being mentioned but something upsetting happened that simmons had blocked from her memories.

To your question about this being the final season, they did not know the entire time. The show was almost cancelled in season 5 but got renewed only after they made “The End” episode. While filming season 6 in November 2018, they got renewed for season 7. In July 2019, it was announced to be the final season. I’m not sure when it was decided officially to conclude the show but the writers had time to wrap it up.

Such a beautiful episode. One thing I particularly like about it is Daisy waking up – depending on what has happened in the previous loop she's either angry or calm which affects how loudly she puts her boots on the ground while exiting the pod, which in turn affects whether or not Sousa wakes up. And of course, the best return to "I am a Kree, brother, as I have always been" <3

I love this episode so much. Enoch's death was so incredibly heartbreaking. Also the fact that the Sousa/Daisy kiss was erased was unfortunate. Also while I love Peggy and Sousa, I also love the idea of Daisy and Sousa.

I remember watching over and over again when it came out. I loved how this is not an infinite loop. there ARE high stakes and there IS an end in sight. I really appreciated that once things are established you get to see the nuggets of progress. So tense, but SO hilarious (Deke dying and no one's sad) and of course incredibly emotional. When Enoch was talking about his loneliness as he reaches his death, I recall that very much reflecting how much I was feeling about the show itself. That we are nearing the end and I was not ready for the inevitable. Also, Sousa is smooth AF lol.

An amazing job by Elizabeth Henstridge as both a director and an actress!! I also love the writing of this episode and how they start after Daisy and Coulson have already been through various loops. This was a great take on time loops and really hit you with the punch at the end with Enoch’s sacrifice. Great reaction - sad we’re coming to the end!

A fantastic episode for sure! It's full of top notch performances, but Elizabeth Henstridge stands out to me for one moment in particular. The close-up of her face as her memories return is absolutely heartbreaking. It devastates me every time I see it. And Sousa certainly has a type. This man loves him a strong woman, specifically one who is a secret agent. Daisy X Sousa feels strangely natural considering how quickly we got to it. It just...fits. Clark Gregg also nails it. Exasperated time-looping Robo-Coulson is fantastic. He plays agitated really well. And, of course, Enoch will be missed. It takes a special sort of talent to be endearing while also being monotone and robotic, and Joel Stoffer totally delivers on that front. The way he pulls his own "heart" out without missing a beat, without questioning it at all...he truly is a great friend to the team (as he has always been). Well, I'm really looking forward to next week! I've been waiting to see and discuss a certain performance all season, and now it's nearly upon us! :D

This episode is amazing and loved hearing your thoughts on it. Elizabeth did a wonderful job directing! Random fun fact, a little while ago it was the highest rated Marvel tv show on IMDB. Those ratings change all the time but it's still up there with the best of the best. Love the development of Daisy and Sousa's relationship and how it's been done in quite a subtle way. I wondered if anything would happen from the moment Sousa pretended to be Daisy's fiancé back in ep 5 and I'm really glad it did. Also massive shout out to Joel Stoffer for an incredible and emotional performance as Enoch! Lastly here's a short bts video of Elizabeth Henstridge directing this episode if you're interested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9-IWO_Redw

I love the moment when Simmons has the implant removed and she starts to remember and freak out. It seems extremely horrifying, like a terrible death of Fitz or something, and while it is not quite so gruesome, the reaction is incredibly understandable once you see the end. She was realizing that she had left her daughter and there was an extremely strong chance she will never see her again.
