i agree with all of your comments to be honest. But i gotta admit i loved the music in this ep

I do not blame the writers for this abrupt ending because they were not told if there was going to be another season. Nickelodeon did not treat them fairly. Regardless, this is my least favorite season of the franchise. I also despise the severance of the past Avatar spirits.

I agree with you that this was a messy season, and some things in the finale could've been handled better, even with all the backstage excuses, they could've made a better pace for the finale. What I disagree is with Jinora! That was a actually the better build plot through the season! In the first episode, there was a moment when Jinora had a dream and was attracted to a surten statue in the Avatar Temple where there's the statues of all the Avatars, the statue that she was attracted to that she didn't recognise at the time was of Avatar Wan, throughout the season we see how Jinora could comunicate with the spirits, and how the spirits were confortable around her, and she was the only one who could guid Korra into the Spirit world when Tenzin couldn't. She is the grandaughter of Aang and a spiritual protegee, and during the kaiju battle, she once again asumed the role of spiritual beacon for Korra to find Raava, because remember what Raava said: "light cannot exist without darknest, so much as darkness cannot exist without light", so Raava wasn't really destroyed, Korra just needed help to find her light spirit once again. As much as you disliked/hate Korra, I think you'll grow to love Jinora, now that the worst is behind and with a litte more coherence and some new and interesting characters to come, it'll be smooth sailing from here on. Also love Olivia's reaction!😂 I don't think she was that happy even during the Avatar finale.

Yeah, definitely the worst season but really excited for your reactions to season 3 and 4 which are fantastic. I do agree with most of your points, the Jinora thing I felt the same about the first time I watched this season, but having seen it multiple times now they do build it up quite well, there are plenty of moments and hints at her spiritual powers throughout the season, also the first half of the season works a lot better if you already know where the plot of the season is going to end up with vatu trying to stop harmonic convergence and all that. Also while I agree the death of Rava and getting her back was fairly quick, There were consequences, the avatar cycle being broken and Korra not being able to connect with any past avatars is a pretty big consequence in my opinion.

This season has highs and lows. More lows than highs. But I'm thankful S3 is right around the corner because it holds up. In my opinion it's the best of the series, original or Korra. Edit: I just got to the shout out that was nice! I waited to binge the last half of S2 because I don't really love it lol. I'm just anticipating S3.
