Episode Synopsis:

Pokkle and Ponzu use Ponzu's bees to deliver messages asking the Hunter Association to help eliminate the Chimera Ants.. Meanwhile, the Chimera Ants have attacked Gyro, the shadowy ruler of NGL, and taken his guns. As the situation gets worse, Ponzu's message reaches Gon's group...

I dont think you guys were wrong dishing out the criticisms to hxh and the having low expectations . Its completely valid, the show as a whole is very uneven. Its has the highest highs and the lowest lows. I just think for what its worth , hxh in shounen genre is one of a kind . For better or worse . I do like that you appreciate this slow burn build up we are having with this particular arc. Since to some people it can feel dragged out. And thats valid too. And yeah i think the directing and the writing itself of this ep was a lot more emotionally engaging . Since the start of the arc you could feel the actual threat rising. And thats always nice . Im glad youre enjoying quite a bit, who knows it might be a trainwreck next episode, lol

Edgar hit all the points really well! Yes the show it's not perfect, but there's a reason why it's widely considered one of the best animes in recent time (a statement that doesn't come just from my personal preference, but you can find proof of that all over: imdb, myanimelist, youtube, many "best animes of the decade" lists) and that reason is the Chimera Ant arc. An arc that, albeit looks long, its necessary to build up the big crescendo at the end of it, and I know the "just wait until ep x, it gets better" argument can be a little irritating, especially in you guys' situation (which I'm willing to bet that there are more HxH fans on this page, and once we get to that section of the arc the viewership will increase, just as it did for many other reactors), BY GOD it's worth it for this arc!
