I was in the middle of watching a different 1st time watching/reaction video (for Empire Strikes Back, no less) but just HAD to switch to this one as soon as I got the email notification. I’ve been looking forward to this episode since I became a Patron - which I did specifically for the Psych coverage. It’s my favorite “comfort” series and getting to witness someone experience it for the first time (especially the Yang arc) is *just* shy of magical! ✨

No joke, been looking forward to you seeing this one for SO long. It just hits so hard. Especially at the end, with the Band of Horses song, Jules and Lassiter, and the guys in their racquetball gear.... just so good. As always, really enjoy the reactions & the analysis/review afterward :)

Agreed! This has one of my favorite (and most emotionally-resonant) endings of any Psych episode. No shame admitting I cry full tears every time I watch it (even in "highlights" format, apparently)

I’ve literally watched this episode dozens of times with family, friends, or alone so it was really cool to see someone experience this masterpiece for the first time - gah, John, I’m just beyond thrilled you’ve chosen to watch Psych, especially for episodes like this one!! For a film-addict like myself I knew you’d have a blast watching James channel his inner Hitchcock to direct this episode! Every season or so we get an episode like this one that reminds us how attached we have become with these characters. The writers are so clever with this show - it’s a comedy first but with every episode they put a few little heartfelt character developments that we barely even notice until they are all put into real danger or experience trauma. That’s when we realize how much we love and care for them. BRILLIANT. Geez, I love this show hahaha. BEYOND thrilled you do, too!! Thanks for sharing with us, John!! (:

I've been so busy the last few weeks I haven't had much time to keep up with Psych reactions but I knew I had to make time for this one today!!! This is one of my all time favorite Psych episodes, quite possibly my absolute favorite. Even just watching the highlights I could feel the tension and like you mentioned, it really builds off the previous Yin/Yang episode so well. The montage with Juliet and Lassie gets me every time, but that montage overall is just such a great moment and I feel like it really captures the fallout well. Can't believe it's already season 5!

I have literally spent my entire day off catching up on the past two months of reactions I've missed. I'm so glad you are at this episode. Definitely a favorite of mine. Also glad I can finally stop holding back that Tim Omundson is a SPN actor too. It killed me not to say every ep that he was the SPN actor.
