Season 4 is one of my favorites as well! If you can believe it, I think season 5 and 6 are even better.

Junie

Psych really has some great guest stars, both famous and not. I just listened to an episode of the Psych podcast where they joke about how none of them are famous enough now to have landed a guest spot on the show haha. I think that Gus telling them was good! Shawn felt like they were running out of time but Gus let him keep that agency of choice. I feel like if Shawn had told Juliet his feelings at the time it could have wound up being a question of motivation due to the circumstances - very similar to Gus's relationship a few episodes back, where they weren't sure if it was real attraction or just the heat of the moment type thing.

Robert English

John, if you think Dr. Mallen looks familiar, he is played by Cullen Douglas. He was Edison Po, Clairvoyant's right hand man, in the first season of Agents of SHIELD.

Amber Dustman

The researcher in the ep was also a guest character actor on SPN. He was in the Lily Dale episode as the spoon bender (the one that got killed by his own utensils.)
