the creators of avatar were trying to go for some darker themes with Korra while Nickelodeon was creating more and more kids shows. No matter how much the creators tried they could not really do what they wanted, so they never new if they would get renewed for another season. But now they have there own company called Avatar Studios so they can create their on content without restraint.

Yeah Nickelodeon didn't seem to have the faith because it wasn't like Avatar. Korra isn't one note I would say. She definitely had growth last season. But because of all the issues, they kinda regressed her development so it makes sense that it feels like she's on a repetitive cycle. And yeah she can go into the avatar state but she has always been skilled with abilities. So when Aang interacted with her she gained the avatar state. And come on Olivia 😅 she's 17!!! I know she's unbearable but just ride with the season guys. The creators will get out of this stupid studio interference. And it's only been 6 months since book 1. I dont think I looked very different in 6 months time in my late teen years 😳
