Not sure if I missed an update somewhere or something, but why did you guys stop watching HunterxHunter and JoJo?

I watched the highlights on YouTube, I’m thoroughly enjoying the reactions/reviews so far and I appreciate that you’re giving GF a fair shake even if a few of the early eps have been less than stellar. This episode in particular always feels like a turning point in my opinion, so I’m not super shocked that you liked it more than others. As someone who has seen the whole series many many times and genuinely adores it, even I’m not a terribly big fan of the pacing of the wax museum ep, or the Gideon intro episode as a whole. And while there’s stuff you can appreciate about them after consuming the entire series, they just don’t trip that same whimsy switch that a lot of future episodes do once it really hits its stride. I do truly think you’ll enjoy what’s to come. Both the more one-off episodes and the ones that dip into Big Picture things, there’s really some incredible stuff Also, that elderly ghost fella is voiced by Ken Jenkins, aka Dr. Bob Kelso from Scrubs :3

Both have been on hiatus for a while for various reasons. Current plan, though, is to pick Hunter back up in early January at least for the next arc (which we hear is one of the best)!
