Always like this two-parter. Nice and creepy.

The added Amy narration intro is just for the US. So you have to sync twice to accommodate for the longer US intro. I didn't even know it existed till I started watching DW reactions.

I've only ever seen the Amy one for this series, so I don't know which others you are thinking of.

From memory, I believe the opening with Amy explaining the premise of the show was to help introduce a new audience to Who, especially for the American BBC, that may not have the history to the show that British audiences already did. Love revisiting this show with you guys!

Yeah this is a weird one cos you either like this two parter or you despise this two parter, I’ve yet to have a conversation with someone that has been in the middle. Personally I like it, mainly for the themes/debates it presents with the Gangers etc but I don’t think it’s anywhere near as bad as some people say it is.

It's fairly middle of the road for me. I like the themes and body horror, but it's fairly forgettable.

I see people get real upset at how protective Rory gets to the gangers. He went through basically the same thing as them.

Yeah it wasn't until the Matt Smith era that they really pushed the USA promotion hard. I think it's because they had a collaboration with a US company when they filmed the first 2 episodes of the season

I wasn't a fan of this 2 parter. I only really like the last few minutes of the 2nd part! I'm not sure why I don't like it, it just doesn't grab me as much as some other episodes.
