Thanks for the reaction! I can't stand this episode personally and I never really got why it was so well loved. It's one of my most hated episodes. However season 6 is pretty great

A personal favorite of mine written by Neil Gaimen the writer of American Gods and so so many others. DOCTOR: You know you weren't very reliable. You didn't always take me where I wanted to go. TARDIS/IDRIS: No but I always took you where you needed to go.

This has always been a favorite of mine out of all of Matt Smith's episodes. It was wonderfully done.

Daryl

A favourite of mine.

Great reaction, this is my 6th favorite Episode, it is brilliant and Surrane Jones was absolutely fantastic as The TARDIS, also I get teary eyed every time I watch the Doctor is saying goodbye to her, also one of the most bada** lines ever when House tells the Doctor “Fear me I’ve killed hundreds of time lords” and the Doctor replies “Fear Me I’ve Killed All of Them”

This is definitely an episode that grows on you on rewatch. I still remember really not liking it when I first saw it as a kid (same with some other stellar episodes like Turn Left but you know I was too young) and then when I rewatched this when I was a bit older – still years back – that's when I really realised its brilliance and it actually took me till like last year to realise that this is written by Neil Gaiman who is my absolutely favourite author so I dunno that probably also explains why I love this so much as well cus if you've read Gaiman you can really see his style throughout this entire episode. So, yea, can't really blame you guys for not loving this on first watch but I for sure hope you guys will take time at some point to rewatch at least some episodes like this cus I truly believe you can get way more out of this. But, yea, regardless, as everyone here basically agrees, it's a stellar episode! One thing I do disagree with you guys is the point about a double episode cus even though I'd love a double from Gaiman, I don't think this would work as a double – I think it'd drag on a bit too much and maybe be a bit too "heavy" especially if focused on Amy and Rory's torture-fun-whatever. But also this is just an episode where I can totally see people not loving it, so maybe it'll never just be for Greg which is fine too.
