The Tale of Iroh is iconic. His voice actor Mako died shortly after making this episode and it was sweet that they dedicated that song to him at the end. The reason Sokka got kicked out is because the poetry slam was exclusively sharing haikus which for them follows a strict 5-7-5 syllable structure. The line "Young ladies, I rocked ya" has 6 syllables so the bouncer kicked him out. And the Tale of Zuko is just the best. I think Zuko's relationship with Mai is a little bit of the reason he had to leave, but to me I think it mostly has to do with the struggle he deals with his identity. He still hasn't warmed up to life in Ba Sing Se and he is still adamant that Ba Sing Se and no other place will be good enough. He still wants to go home and if he ends up falling in love, he's scared that this might change, so he fights it.
