Okay. Now season 7 will be more enjoyable after this

TheLoKeyLoki

Don’t worry guys, hang in there, next episode is another stand out in my opinion, really looking forward to that one. It all gets better from here!

Good actors help make it through the not so good episodes, loved the leviathans and really love Kevin McNally as Frank!

Hey. Agree with both of you. It falls somewhere better than “meh” but short of “good”! But I think it is transitional. They seem to have finally remembered that the finale is coming up in the not too distant future so they’ve got to get some plot going. So we have on screen Leviathans and investigation into what they are doing, and Sam beginning to have big time problems from the whole wall coming down thing again (continued from last episode). Let’s face it, it is quite difficult to make Jared look bad - especially as with his degree of physical fitness he tends to look resolutely healthy. So make up are going to have to get their arses in gear if they really want to convince us. Season 7 was the closest I came to falling off SPN. I still watched regularly but I think it was about halfway through the season that I realised I wasn’t enjoying it very much anymore and was really only watching because I liked Sam and Dean so much and was kind of hoping it would get better. Obviously I’m so glad now that I sat tight, but boy, were those difficult times!

I gotta say I actually appreciated the subtle eye makeup they put on Jared to make Sam look tired because that's what I tend to look like when I'm dead tired lol Totally agree this is a mediocre, rather forgettable ep. Not the worst, but definitely not a favorite (I legit did not remember anything that happened here other then there are cursed ballerina shoes and the end scene with Frank). However! Next week we finally get to one of the best episodes of the season if not THE best! Do yourselves a favor and DON'T read the guest star names pls, it will make it even better :) Can't wait for your next reaction!

Unfortunately season 7 saw a drop in viewership and there were many who didn't return which is a shame because I feel the writing got back on track at a point in season 8.

Yeah, this is a just okay episode. Not awful, but not great either. Still, overall I like season 7 and the end of the season is the strongest part of it, so I look forward to your upcoming reactions. This season is kind of like Halloween part three that doesn't have Michael Myers in it. It almost feels like a standalone season in the middle of the series.

So sad that the Leviathan got Frank. I loved his dry humor and sarcasm. Overall, not a big fan of the episode, but 100% agree that Plucky’s is worse.

Diana

I kind of like this episode, mostly because it was nice to actually feel like we were building to the actual plan of the leviathan, and George using the boys to get rid of the woman was interesting. However, I wouldn't consider this an overly, special episode. Frank was great, and it was hard to lose him off screen. Next week is going to be a Godsend.

Amber Dustman

Seriously, next episode DO NOT read who the guest actors are. Cover up the bottom of your screen if you have to. It is the best ep of the season and you can't ruin it!
