In 2001, David Tennant first joined the Whoniverse playing a Nazi in an audio drama fighting with the 7th Doctor (Sylvester McCoy). In his Tennat’s finale episode, he helps stop the Master Race as the 10th Doctor.

great reaction, I love this part so so much, I am always like John was and just teary a lot of it especially the emotional scenes between the Doctor and Wilfred, and then i completely break when The Doctor says "I Don't Want to Go" every time I see it, this is one of David Tennants best performances in the show, and now you guys have a great Journey of Matt Smith to go on, a lot of great episodes, and after a few dozen episodes you will be to my favorite Doctor

The final episodes of 10s run is more a send off for the fans of this doctor and the actor playing him, People have spent 4 years with him that's why they made this episode so emotional compared to 9s.

Agree. Wilf = MVP! I really wish he had had a run as companion to the Doctor. I won’t give specifics in case you watch it later, but the appearance of Jack was especially poignant for Torchwood watchers. He was in a lot of pain at the time, and the viewers knew why, so this was more than just the Doctor giving Jack an ‘in’ with the guy next to him - Jack is perfectly capable of chatting up anybody without help - it was the Doctor pulling Jack out of his sad mood. And I’m surprised about the ‘ginger’ complaints. I always took it as the Doctor being a bit upset that he wasn’t ginger. I’m not fond of a lot of the episode, but I love everything from Wilfred’s knocks onwards. Many tears were shed around the nation at David’s goodbye, people swearing off Doctor Who, not wanting the new guy, etc etc (the usual - happens every time!)

Tennant's send off was so many episodes as it was also Russel T Davies ending his time as the showrunner.
