Awoken. Also the plane is the zephyr one the quinjet are the smaller planes that attach to the top. This episode if you did not realize is also similar to simmons standalone 3x5 (4,755 hours) episode away from the rest of the team. The general took over Talbot job after he was shot which is why her base had shield’s things they took when they were going to arrest the team. The monkey’s were Fitz’s way of counting the time passing and just a reminder of his love of monkeys throughout the series. I love the return of Hunter for this episode and his presence really made us miss him even more. Like you said this episode filled in some gaps and we have finished the first act of this arc and now are moving into the second half (6-10) There will be much more things to come.

I liked how they tied rather Hinton family back into the plot because title seemed like a big deal at the end of season 3. Quake promised to look after Robin and we didn’t see them all of season 4. I wonder if this was the plan or just filling in a plot hole. Also, Hunter appearing and referencing Bobbi fighting ninjas was probably supposed to be in the abandoned pilot, Marvel’s Most Wanted. The actress that played General Hale is Catherine Dent, who usually plays authority figures like cops and lawyers, and she was not in Silicon Valley but she does that commanding presence.

Definitely one of my favorite episodes from the show. I remember being so bummed not seeing Hunter of Bobbi in the Framework it was nice to see him here.

Steve Rivera

One of my faves! I believe this episode is directed by the same person who directed Jemma's solo episode in season 3 when she was on Maveth. And it even mirrors it's position down to the episode, both being episode 5 of their respective seasons. I thought that was very neat. "Release the ferrets". "I love you/I know." Fitz taking the long way around. Hunter returning. Just a lot of great moments in this one. Love it. Fitz easily my favorite character of the series.

Such a fun episode and great having Nick Blood back as Hunter. I believe Nick and Iain are best mates off screen so must've been a blast for them! Looking forward to next weeks reaction as always which is another great ep and Clark Gregg directs it!
