I know we do a lot of exclusive vids every single day for Patreon, BUT the support here DEFINITELY feeds into the youtube channel as well so thank you again to all who have pledged here.

This is the case for almost every single show we've ever covered for the main channel lol.

Each one of our Snyder Cut videos have been private for a lonnnng time before publishing them (public). Within the first 20 minutes of making them public, BAM!

Yes, each one is blocked first go around, so we go back to editing it. I understand if there's a copyright claim, so usually, the method is to leave it private, then if it's claimed while private, get back to editing it down to where it's fine. With 2 people working on full assembly for every one of these videos, several hours, I'd like to at least break even on the ad sense through hours invested.

It's bizarre that these music companies can definitely recognize audio is filtered, low, cut up into these little chunks with overlapping audio...waiting till our video is public, to the point where we can't do anything about it just feels like a heavy indicator that they're waiting to take the ad sense lol.

It's exactly our Cobra Kai situation all over again. Other people I know have their vids monetized, often using more footage & louder music, yet, they wait till our video is public to claim us.

It's not a great feeling to have most of the week be dedicated to videos that take hours to assemble, gather hundredths of thousands of views, be aware your peers are able to have ads play on theirs, and yet...know that it's going to someone else. I know some will come at me online saying "you don't deserve it", in my opinion, if others are allowed to keep their videos monetized through FAIR USE, something we definitely abide by, then why shouldn't we?

So again, I know this is something I've talked extensively about over the past year, I only wish to express it cause yeah...I'm frustrated by this. Undoubtedly. But also to say thank you.

These past few weeks, because I'm going out of town & with everything to cover, I've been working off of mainly 3-5 hours of sleep a night.  Your support here REALLY does help off shoot the frustrations of feeling a little singled out.

Dude this fucking sucks. You two might be the most optimistic dudes and in your vids the audience would have no idea how incredibly frustrating this would be without the BTS explanation. Sorry this happens man, you guys are the best and I’m glad to help in the littlest way I can on Patreon. Y’all def deserve to be making the dough for your content. Much love fellas.

I have to say- I'm a litigator with very little patent/trademark experience, but this is a very interesting issue to me. Honestly it sounds like how may people patent random crap and then go around suing anyone and everyone whose product comes close to theirs, which is a business model in and of itself (referred to as patent trolls). It would not surprise me if you aren't actually breaking any law, but the people shutting them down are trying to bully you into submission as their business model- but, as I said, this isn't my area of expertise and some of the slang you're using makes it difficult to follow. But now I'm interested.

(and also terribly sorry this is happening to you, I do think y'all work hard and deserve any monetization of your product or just to be free of hassle)

Sorry this keeps happening to you guys. You guys work hard on your videos for the best reactions for us. Thanks for all the hard work you bring every week to get stuff done, and I'm glad to be part of your patreon and be here for as long as it helps you guys out.

I have worked on plenty of reaction videos myself but none with the same insane amount of work as yours, and usually a copyright claim ruins my day. Can't imagine how horrible this whole fiasco must feel. I'm glad we patrons can help you guys to some extent, both financially and mentally.
