I think the writer's forgot that the yellow eyed demon told Sam he went after Jess because he was getting too comfortable. If Dean hadn't been there the demon would have killed Jess anyways, just when Sam went out for class or something else. And Sam probably would have died because Dean wouldn't have been there to bring him out of the house. I don't know what the angels would have done about him dying though.

But Jess would have been killed regardless of Dean 100%

Never going to find me complaining about a Dean-centric episode that also has a good bro conversation. Plus, it is wonderful to see Jo again. Really wish they had not killed her and Ellen in S5. Favorite joke was Sam getting his defense ideas from The Good Wife 😃

Great reaction. I really appreciated the scene between Jo and Dean because I felt it was brought out something that needed to be said and shed light on. Some MOTW are used just as a framework for something else, and in this episode it's like they didn't really care much about it. I think that Jo was the one chosen to kill Dean because I think Dean feels more guilt about her than the other things. I think the guilt connected to Amy was not that he killed her, but that he went behind Sam's back to do it. They he's hiding it from Sam and lying to him about it. So, I still don't see that Dean did anything wrong, or was cold about how he did it. I know others see it differently, but I don't. And I'm confident in my thoughts on it because of how I see Dean and what drives him.

Is anyone watching in an iPad and finding no sound on RR videos via the app. I have been having to watch them via web instead of app,

This episode is good to me, but not great, what holds it back for me is when Osiris asked Sam about if Dean was the reason he didn’t have the happy Lawyer life, Sam didn’t mention that it was Yellow Eyes pulling all the strings to get him to leave, also that some of his friends back in his life were possessed and pushing him a certain way, or that the Angels told them that their life was planned since the beginning of humanity

Honestly I prefer the monster of the week episodes a lot more.

HI! Just wanted to tell you I just binge watched all your live streams of supernatural in two weeks! You guys are very fun to watch react to this show I love! Thank you for posting! Just wondering will you ever put your stuff on YouTube links again? It’s much easier to watch and lot less glitchy I find. No worries if you can’t just thought I’d ask! I’ll stay with you guys through to the end of this series, and maybe check out some of your reactions to the other shows too!

My guess is Sam doesn't feel guilty because he spent about 120 years in hell being tortured basically paying for his mistakes. He's also still being psychologically tortured now. I think he feels like he paid the price for the things he's done. 🙃

Can we just recognize how awful of a lawyer Sam is. Lol. I love him, but maybe he wasn't meant to be a lawyer afterall...

I know this is stupid, but in that bar scene between Dean and the pretty blonde bartender, and Osiris (as we discover later) lurks in the foreground...in a baseball cap...ALL I COULD SEE was Tom Morello from RATM 🤣 I am such a weirdo 😊
