Oh hell yeah. When people try to talk to me about the greatest comic tv shows it always always ALWAYS comes back to "Self Control" for me. What a god damn episode.

On the Daisy replica thing. Remember they wanted Daisy to meet each Inhuman personally. Mack said, "It'll be more efficient than you think". He knows the plan. Daisy bots will kill the Inhumans on sight. Secondary reason this episode is considered so good is what remains to come.

First things John. This is the finale of the lmd arc (similar to 8 being the end of ghost rider arc)For most people this is the best episode of the show as it does so much and hits the beats like you said more than any other episode previously. With daisy and Simmons they both were downstairs looking for the others in the “maze” like Davis and Simmons described in ep 14 when everyone else was taken. Mace was taken first when we see Aida peek in through the door as he is getting beaten. Coulson was taken when he left daisy to fight the russian. Mack was taken after he saved Fake Mace by Fake Coulson And Fitz was taken when Simmons left him alone Simmons and daisy were the only ones because it was hard to find them because the area she and daisy were in was like a labyrinth like Davis described it. The lmd detector says the total reports is 4 lmds not the ones on screen. So daisy isn’t while Fitz is. The other agents were dragged out before the explosion so there isn’t as many deaths as you think. (Simmons told the rookies to do that) If you don’t recognize the building May was in at the end that is the building where cap defeated hydra and did that elevator scene

I feel like I've said this before, but watching along to these reactions make watching the show even better than my first (and second, and third) time alone. I remember watching this episode and realizing just how much development the show has given to its characters and how much growth these actors have since S1. Also remember the Agents of SHIELD social media teasing Brett Dalton's (Ward) return and it was all so mind blowing cause no one knew what was to come. Excited for next week eek!

the daisy plan was to upload her into ALL the replicas and send each one out to kill the inhuman like Mack infers, when he said " it'll be more efficient than you think." My thoughts on Fitz are that he has been switched since "broken promises". There are clues in the writing , and in how they had to keep calibrating the sensors, that I was picking up the first time I watched it. But 3mins into that moment between Simmons and Fitz I had yelled out "FUCK IT ! IT COULD BE EITHER ONE!"

Hey, john I thought you might find it interesting that Davis, the agent training to fly the zephyr has actually been in a lot episodes already mostly in the background but they have mentioned him multiple times and he's had a couple lines here and there, I just checked and this is actually his 10th episode.

He wasn’t switched because the sensor went off in 4x13 for lmd’s for a hanger and he was already inside the building so he had to pass through it

There are bits and pieces though out the arc starting at "wake up",in the writing, that clues you in to fitz being off. Just like May's dialog, except you already KNOW she's turned.
